Valvoline Type F ATF is an automatic transmission fluid that has been uniquely engineered to meet and exceed the requirements of older Ford and select import vehicles with automatic transmissions and is officially licensed and approved by Ford. I'm having a 5.0 stroker motor built/installed for my Mustang that will deliver over 500 RWHP. A new power steering pump was installed and I needed some quality ATF fluid. I went to four different branded stores and only found 'their store brand ATF fluid." Would their products have worked - probably so, but I've got over $15K in this build so I turned to AMAZON for some, in my opinion, quality fluid. Seem to use this Type F Trans fluid more than all the others in my 1966 Black Mustang Coupe Raven. Often quite difficult to find type F for 66 FORDS at the auto-stores. WA-LA!! Amazon has it don't have to get disgruntled at the stores. Can by just 1 or 6, free shipping and at my door in 2 days. LOVE IT!! MUSTANG LOVES it!! 3 of 4 bottles of Valvoline Type F AFT were leaking in the box they were shipped in. There were no signs of damage to the box, so there for they were leaking either before they were shipped or after they were a victim of abuse handling. They were leaking at the seem just above the sight gauge. I lost about 2 to 3 ounces of fluid. Not Happy ... show more
