  • A must before painting any figure
I paint figures and make customs. This primer is amazing. I hand paint everything and this makes life so much easier. It goes on very nice. It spreads out well, i've done 10 or so figures, and i still have half a bottle. I like to apply a thin coat of the primer, once it drys I apply a second coat and you will notice a very solid color for the primer. Once that drys, you are ready for paint. I start with one light coat of paint. Once the first coating drys, I will apply a second coat of paint, and that is it. I noticed my colors are looking more solid and much better, cleaner. This is a great primer for hand paint prep work. ***Pictured is a figure where I sanded first, then added the primer before painting. It works so well, and can even hide flaws before painting. ... show more

  • Be sure to get the right primer
I tossed this into the cart and didn't notice that it's an Air version (for airbrushes). Although you can make do with this very thin primer and a paintbrush, it's really not ideal. It seems to work all right when mixed with the German Red Brown (regular) primer to lighten it.

  • Tried and True Primer
Vallejo is the standard for miniature and model painting (imho)... Yes, I DID literally cut and paste this from my last primer review!!! Again!!

  • Really happy with the results
Really happy with the results. This in conjunction with game air seems to produce a pretty durable paint job, and it looks great on my models!

  • Grey and peely
Color is fine. I expected it to be white, though. It's very very grey. The color applies well, but peeled right up off my project.
