Only after a couple of uses, it began to tear! Continued to tear in several spots after subsequent uses. Leaves an overwhelming amount of lint/residue wherever it is placed.

    • Not worth a cent. Get their white cloth version for a cloth that actually holds up to use.
Honestly, just terrible. I was hoping that this cloth would hold up as well as Valentino Garemi's white version of the polishing cloth. I've bought multiple of the white version (using only a single polish color per cloth) and they have all held up over a lot of uses. This cloth immediately after just trying to wrap around my fingers. So I tried to use it as just rag to put under the shoe when I polished my shoes, but the amount of black lint that was left on the soles was atrocious. Using it as an actual polishing cloth would end up turning any shoe black from lint alone. Really disappointing. ... show more

    • Watch Out It Bleeds
First use, rubbing neutral conditioner into pale gray shoes, I saw there were black smudges in some places. At first I thought must have coming from my hands from something I had touched. A little of the color of the cloth was rubbing off onto my shoes. Because they are driving shoes with an open section of the same leather on the bottom to experiment with, I rubbed conditioner in using sections from all over the cloth. All of the sections of cloth did the same. The conditioner is a super quality that penetrates deep into the leather. I don't know what would have happened if I hadn't gotten it off before the lotion started sinking in. Plus, It might have stained my cordovan shoes before I realized what was happening. I wouldn't even want to use it on my black shoes not knowing whether it's a chemical that's causing that. No more black polishing cloths for me. ... show more
