I recently upgraded my kitchen with the VAL CUCINA Infrared Heating Air Fryer Toaster Oven. Usually, I don’t leave a review for the product but this time, I would like to share my impression and the experience I had so far. Amazon has a bundled option which is coming with the cutting board. While I reviewed the details of the cutting board, I decided to purchase it for both the oven and the cutting board. First of all, the cutting board is not only for its primary function. On top of it, its heat resistant material should protect the cabinets from the damage. I have put it on top of the oven for that reason. Also, the material itself looks non-slippery and heat resistant that prevent from scratching and sliding during food preparation. If I buy this cutting board separately, it’s another $40.00. Absolutely great deal! For the oven, my first impression was that it looks stylish and sleek modern yet also looks very durable. Its stainless-steel finish makes the product looks very sleek & modern and easy to clean. Also, it fits perfectly on my countertop without taking up too much space, yet it’s spacious enough inside to handle the size for my family. The product title at Amazon already mentioned that 10-in-1 countertop oven. It has multiple cooking functions – clearly more than bake/toast/broil.. it has a specific toast and options for how many slices. It was quite impressive! As it’s a convection oven with infrared technology, it enables the even cooking. That is very nice! My previous countertop oven had a analog controller, whereas this product has all digital controller and two dials (one is for selection and the other is for the functional choices). I initially thought that I need some time to get used to. Actually it doesn’t require it, as its navigation and user experience looks quite simple and intuitive. Control panel has a clear options displayed and has some beeping to remind where I am at. Both visual and audio experience guide me use the oven without any issue. Also, I like the pre-set cooking modes that make it easy to whip up meals without guessing about time and temperature settings. It’s easy to use. As of now, I used it for ‘air fry’, ‘bake’, ‘broil’ and ‘toast’. It works really well as I expected. Very fast and even cooking. Very crispy and even when I used the ‘toast’ function. It has the options to choose for ‘light’ vs. ‘dark’… and how many ‘slices’ of toast. So good! I am going to do the slow cook this weekend that I am going to make beef stew for two people. I went into severe analysis-paralysis when choosing an oven/air fryer to replace our aging Oster. I mean, I really research. There wasn't much on this oven though. All the other ovens had online reviews. Not so much this one except for corporate videos. But the features were what I was looking for WITH an air-fryer aboard. I don't want to have loud beeping and a wide footprint from my toaster over... ✔️ The controls are very intuitive. The scrolling menu feature is easy to see and has pre-sets. The digital display is very clear to read and I wanted to be able to add increments of time. I also wanted vents on the side ✔️ It's the fastest and most complete toaster I've ever used. Bread and bagels come out perfectly. We use the bake function all the time and it is very good at giving you a crust if that's what you want. A 9" pizza fits easily. Our main oven doesn't get used as much now. The light button helps when you want to see what's going on. The air fryer feature has worked perfectly for wings and fries. My wings come out crispy. The fan does make a noise while it's running at 47 decibels from a distance of 2'. That's for every function. It looks sharp too, which is important in an open floor plan kitchen.
