So far no leaking, no smell. I haven't cleaned one yet but it looks pretty easy to just dump the water out. It holds a decent amount of water. Over all it works pretty darn good, just have to be careful opening them for first time it's a little tricky. Would buy again.

I felt these were kind of silly when I bought them, but these ended up being one of the best things I’ve purchased and well worth the money. I live in a VERY humid environment and put these behind my books thinking they might help protect all that paper. Literally two weeks after I put these in, my city was hit by Hurricane Beryl and I lost power / AC to my home for 8 days. It got SO HUMID (on top of being 90°+) and I couldn’t feasibly remove all of my books. These little absorber packs absolutely saved my books. The books with these packs are FINE and the ones without are showing signs of water damage. I absolutely recommend these, if only for a little peace of mind that every day humidity will have less of an impact. They were so easy to setup and a good size (I have 1 pack/container per 40 inches of bookshelf. Highly recommend these and will definitely be buying more! ... show more

Hello, Wife here. Husband does not leave reviews. We had previously purchased these and discovered they work very, very well to capture excess moisture in the home. We place them in the basement, basement stairwell, bathroom, etc.They work! We purchased them again, (6 pack) and unfortunately there was a minor flaw regarding 3 of the containers. We contacted Seller/Amazon, and the Seller immediately sent a replacement box, it arrived on the day we had just dropped off the return package at the UPS center. Unbelievable service, we are so pleased with this company.
