This 2.5 gal vacmaster wet/dry vac is perfect for my needs. It’s very powerful and sturdy. Easy to store. I saved a lot of money buying this compared to a vacuum. I did have to purchase the wands for it, but it’s still a great deal. I’m looking forward to using it when I clean my car instead of going to the car wash/ their vacs are getting expensive. This will pay for itself. The cord length is fine, but you will need an extension cord, if you take it outside to vacuum your car. I love the size of it. This vacuum is perfect for cleaning the car and also around the house. It’s strong for its size and easy to carry around. Great for vacuuming stairs. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for strong suction and compact vacuum.

This is a handy little machine. I needed something to clean up around my guinea pigs cage because their hay and bedding was constantly clogging my regular vacuum. This does the trick. It has a decent sized tub and I found it pretty quick and easy to set up and use. I’ve used it in other hard to clean places like behind my oven, and it got a whole lot of gross stuff up! Also easy to clean out the drum. I gave it a 4 because the brush attachment doesn’t seem to work too well for me. It’s like the suction loses some power when it’s on ? So I just use the hose. Also the cord isn’t super long so I need an extension cord. But I’m happy I bought it. ... show more

I purchased this mainly to vacuum my vehicles. Didn’t have any high expectations but this is really a good vacuum and the price just makes it even better. Yes sure the hose is not long but it’s not a big deal. The suction is amazing and with the attachments it has it’s easy to get in small areas.     • I love this little baby
I have a heat pump in my bedroom that creates a lot of condensation in heat mode, so before I got a condensate pump to get rid of the excess water I had it in a concrete mixing pan and used this to wet-vac it out once a day. It's small enough to be easy to carry when full, but large enough (one gallon, I believe), to be effective. I've had it for awhile and used it on multiple jobs besides the heat pump, and I like the quality, looks, and durability. ... show more

I use this shop vac to vacuum out my car and it does a pretty good job. It has nice suctioning! It is light weight, not heavy at all. I used an extension cord to get it to my car, I was even able to put the little shop vac inside my car so that I vacuum it out even better! I like the accessories that come with it except for the brush, it did not really do anything but the other accessories worked well. The hose was long enough to get to tight spaces in my car. For the cost, it was great deal for me. It sure beats paying money at a car wash and having to keep paying coins to keep the vacuum going!     • Vacmaster mini shop vacuum is recommended
Before I bought this Vacmaster, I made the mistake of ordering a similar “Koblenz WD-2.5 L Portable Wet/Dry, 2.5 Gallon 2.5HP”. I was really disappointed with the Koblenz. When this Vacmaster arrived, it was a night-and-day improvement in every respect. The Vacmaster is thoughtfully designed, with places to store the hose, power cord and attachments so that everything can be carried and accessed easily. It has a much longer power cord (approximately 10’3” / 3.12m) than most of its competition. It appears to be quite well made. I used it as a dry vacuum on the basement stairs and it really did a good job. It is easy to carry and lightweight. This Vacmaster is a good value for the money, in my opinion. My only minor quibble is that I would prefer the crevice nozzle to be cut at a lesser angle than the 60 degree angle tool that is provided. I find that a 30 to 45 degree angle works better. (Their nozzle could be modified with a grinder.) It seems that all vacuum cleaner motors are pretty noisy. If you value the long-term health of your ears, you should use electric vacuums with ear protection. This is especially true if you use the vacuum for longer than, say, five minutes at a time. ... show more

This is a great addition to my laundry room. It’s Very lightweight and so easy to handle. I use it to clean lint in hare to reach areas inside and outside my dryer.
