Washed these towels before first use, and they took forever to dry. They also created a lot of lint in the trap. They’re soft and pretty, but the olive green color is washed out in person, not the rich color seen in the photo. I also noticed a few snags/threads when I took them out of the dryer. Good towels at a good price. I have finally changed all my towels to the same style/brand. I like how these towels have regular sizes and larger sizes. And various sets if just need more towels or hand towels. Colors do not fade and they do not shed a bunch. The price cannot be beat.

Got a set of these (Utopia) to replace some 20+ year old towels (Cannon Royal Family) that started fading and had some minor fraying just beginning. After just a few months of using these "new" Utopia towels, there are already some loops and edges fraying that didn't show up in the older (other brand) towels for over 15 yrs. I'm disappointed with the quality of the Utopia towels. Not that fraying won't happen, just not within the 1st year of use. Perhaps it is a matter of taste, but the density of the loops in the Utopia towels are noticeably thicker and it feels like they don't dry as well. They are more "plush" feeling, but don't grab the water like the older Cannon towels. If I was mostly happy with the older towels, why replace them? Had some important house guests coming, so I wanted some fresh, new, towels. Also the Cannon wash cloths were clearly in need of replacement. Found a reputable review site that said the Utopia towels were a good value, so watched for a good price for a few months before seeing a good price. I have to say, the Utopia wash cloths ARE excellent - well, so far. As with many long term purchases. The true value of these towels cannot really be judged after just 1 yr. 10 yrs from now, we will have more real-world data for judgement. ... show more

Eas very surprised with how comfortable and soft these towels where with how cheap they are. I was expecting the worse, after a first time was and tumble dry the felt even softer. Drys me off quick and they are a bit larger then my old towels making them perfect for wrapping up in after a shower.
