The mount is very sturdy and the directions are easy to follow. My hubby weighs around 200lbs & he hung on it once we mounted it to the wall. It didn’t budge. MAKE SURE ALL 4 lag bolts are in a stud. We used the mount to hang a seriously heavy 86” tv. Worked great. The only thing I would change on this mount is the length of the cross bars that the tv brackets sit on. Because the tv mount holes were so far apart, they sit on the very end of the cross bar. So basically, the tv is unable to slide left to right on the crossbars. The mount allows you to pull it out and move it left to right, but it moves it around a foot each way. I wanted it scooted over a couple inches so it was farther away from the fireplace, but the bars had no more room. Just make sure you install the mount where you want the tv to sit in its fixed position. Nice mount for the money for sure! I’m not worried that my tv will fall off the mount and because it extends out, the installation was far easier than my previous mount. ... show more
