  • Didn't work for me! Update!!!
Size: 6.6 FT Color: Black
Update!!! Right after writing my initial review, I took some time to read other reviews and learned something. I didn't check to see if this worked in HDR at 120hz. My TV/Monitor defaults to 144hz, so this cable might work, if you keep you refresh rate at, or below 120hz. I can say that the cord does get warm. It never got so hot that it was hot to the touch, but it does get warm. ______________Original Review______________ I purchased this because my HDMI 2.1 cable from my graphic card was causing problems with HDR. With a little research I learned that the HDMI port on my graphic card isn't the best and I should use the displayport, if possible. Since I'm using a TV as a monitor, it only has HDMI 2.1 ports. I was hoping this cable would allow me to use the displayport on my graphic card to connect to the HDMI 2.1 port on my TV. It works fine for SDR, but the HDR option is grayed out and it says the cable does not support HDR. If I force the HDR setting on through my graphic card, I get a black screen. I'll have to look elsewhere for a solution. ... show more

  • Able to do 144hz
Size: 6.6 FT Color: Black
Make sure you are getting the right directional cable. Able to feed from my computer to monitor and I am able to get 144hz.

  • Capable of Full Bandwidth Connections
Size: 6.6 FT Color: Black
I pushed a 4k 120hz 10 bit RGB connection through this cable and it worked, but began flickering on the display. I dropped it to 100hz and it was stable, supporting G sync between my Sony X95J and Nvidia 3070ti. Is the flickering from some headroom being lost in the conversion from HDMI to Displayport? Not sure, but since it can handle 4k 100hz it should be able to at least handle 8k 30hz, so I am giving 5 stars as that meets expectations. ... show more

Does the job

  • Works as advertised.
Size: 6.6 FT Color: Black
My specific application for the cable was PC to HDR TV. Specifically a 2080 ti to a Samsung QN90A. I was able to get 4k at 120hz. Dynamic HDR was possible as well. Tested the cable with an MSI 1050 ti as well. Although the card has a DP 1.4 port the signal didnt carry through to the TV. Max resolution was 4k at 60hz. G-Sync did not work in either scenario. No Variable Refresh Rate possible with this cable though I do not think it was advertised to be capable of it. Will update review if signal drops out over time as I have seen some other cables do. ... show more

  • Flickers
Size: 6.6 FT Color: Black
Display keeps flashing on and off with this cable. It doesn’t work. EDIT: Support remedied the issue. I would stay away from the cable and go with the dongle instead. If you have any issues support is quick to respond and will make it right.

  • Flickering after extended use at 4k@120
Size: 6.6 FT Color: Black
I agree with others who have posted this cable does not fully support its listed specs. It works as stated for a while, but will eventually start to cause the display to flicker and flash on and off - It appears at 4k@120hrz whatever circuitry is in the HDMI side of the cable is overheating, I can physically touch the HDMI side of the cable and its very hot after its in use for a period of time. I would avoid this cable. ... show more

  • Didn't Provide 4k@120Hz or Freesync support
Size: 6.6 FT Color: Black
Tried everything possible to get 4k@120Hz from my AMD Vega 56 DP 1.4 port to LG C1 HDMI 2.1 port, but it didn't work. Only 2560x1440 showed 120Hz On the LG C1, I switched HDMI to PC, HDMI Deep Color on. LG C1 and GPU were running on latest firmware/drivers. I got 4k@60Hz, HDR, 8-bit color, RGB Full Standard 4:4:4 What's even disappointing is that when using this cable AMD software showed "Freesync not supported" and Freesync couldn't be enabled, it was just greyed out in AMD software. When I use another brand HDMI 2.0 cable I can enable Freesync with 4k@60Hz, HDR, 8-bit color, RGB Full Standard 4:4:4. Freesync premium on LG C1 works fine with my GPU. See attached pics. So in conclusion this cables performance is worse than a HDMI 2 cable which cost 1/3 it's price. ... show more
