It changes voltage when going from 20V MAX to 60V MAX tools and is compatible with a variety of 20V MAX tools and chargers. In 20V MAX tools it will provide extended runtime. In 60V MAX it will deliver cordless 60V MAX power.

Serious battery It's Big. It's Heavy. It's expensive. But really worth it if you need longevity. I made the jump from gas powered blowers and weed whackers and this battery was essential for me with a lot of land and far from your charger to swap batteries. This GIANT battery was well the wait to save up $ for. My first battery with leafblower and weedeater combo had a short in it. Dewalt said they sent another one but ‘it got lost in shipping’. (Sorry had to vent). This big battery is awesome.
