    • Suspicious... but passed the tests
I am a fan of raw honey and buy local and brands like Nate's just to mix up variety. While USA Honey Corp imports Turkish honey (which is some of the best in the world) the product is still good even with what may seem like some shifty marketing in the company name. I was suspicious when I received my first bottle as is was a bit thinner than most raw unfiltered honey brands I have tried. Also lighter in color than I expected but then again it is a flower honey. The flavor profile is good and slightly above expectations. Then I did some of the simple tests that can help rule out honey cut with sugar and such. While these tests are never 100% proof, they can at least show if a product is cut a lot. For USA honey corp I found it would not dissolve in water, did not overly wet a paper towel and held shape reasonably well for a thin honey. So for me, this put my suspicions aside. With that said, it dont think I will necessarily get more as I feel there are honeys I like better at the same price point. I will say I like the cap, nice clean dispensing! ... show more

This is a delicious tasting honey. I am, however, used to honey with the bits of honeycomb in it, which is thicker, less easy to over-pour, thus easier to control portion when pouring or , as the thicker type, spooning. This Honey has excellent flavor, but is a thinner viscosity so it pours quickly. I went through a bottle in no time, but it was very good. The honey was shipped in an envelope which had been crushed in transit, so there was honey inside the package. Should be shipped in a box. That is why I deducted a star. ... show more

as many others have noted, kinda runny. am accustomed to a bit more viscosity in honey products. that said, the top is pretty well-designed for controlling how much of the sweet stuff is dispensed. ;-)
