Description

The minimum depth required to mount blind is 1 1/2 inch. The minimum depth required for flush-mounting is 3 inch. Our blinds are crafted with high quality components including high profile steel head rail and quality PVC foam slats. Our blinds resist heat and humidity, and are great for all indoor areas including the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. Installation instructions, a 3 1/4" decorative valance, valance clips, a tilt wand mounting brackets, and screws are included. Valance returns or ending corner valances are NOT included. Mounting screws provided are best for drywall or sheetrock only. They are not for concrete or metal surfaces.

Product Care Instructions: Wipe away dust with micro fiber cloth when needed. For stains, mix one part of vinegar and one part of lukewarm water in a bow. Dip soft cloth into the mixture. Wring the cloth. Use the damp-dry cloth to wipe out the stains.

My window frame measures 39x48 (possibly a fraction over 48, but no more than 1/4 inch). First I'll start off by saying that I've never installed blinds before. Taking the old ones down did help me get a "reverse engineering" feel for how to put these up. Luckily I was able to get the old screw-holes to match up with the hardware for these blinds. It took literally 5 minutes to put these up. Obviously if you're installing blinds for the first time, you will take more time putting in the screws. Con: it requires more force/strength to pull them down. When you push them up its as if they are light as a feather; but to pull them down requires enough force I actually worried they'd pull the screws out. However, keep in mind my property (plaster) is older and if I had created new screw holes I'd probably feel way more confident. However, even with my old plaster, they held up well to me pulling them down. I don't really intend to push them up now that they're in place - that's what the wand is for! 🤣 The directions leave a tad to the imagination, mostly because they have drawing to the hardware that are similar but don't really look like the actual hardware. Still, the instructions were clear in the sense I just had to follow the order. Most of the instructions didn't even apply, as I was not installing to a door and did not need or have center supports. The instructions they show you in product image are literally the instructions you receive. Pro: the fact that it's harder to pull them down is also a plus; as that means your blinds shouldn't just one day decide to start sliding down on you. Not unless, with time, you've put them up and down so much you've worn out the mechanics. Unless I'm cleaning the window, I don't see a need to use that feature. As I've told you the measurements of my window already, I'll say they were a PERFECT fit! Also, as you can see, these blinds, while wide (they actually are deeper than my window frame so they stick out more. I think window sills in older homes were much smaller, shallower. But I made it work. Picture shows how they stick out,, but do not interfere with my drapes... the valence for me is mostly useless; because I paired them with drapes, but I put it on anyway, in case decor changes. Also, the blind panels themselves are just a smooth white, there are no "wood grain patterns." On at least one panel - while I was examining it prior to install - I did notice one panel had some imperfections (like quite a few dents as if they were poked several times with a ball point pen when still wet or "soft"); but, after installing I didn't even remember where I saw them, and did not notice them. Really, little imperfections like that aren't a big deal to me. They weren't discolored and sticking out like a sore thumb. If this helped you, make me smile by notifying me. I went to turn the wand and it just kept Turing but the blinds weren’t doing anything. Called numerous times. Phone just gives busy signal. Very disappointed. I don’t want to have to take them down and return. I just want the gear part that controls the wand to open and close. For the price I paid they still should make it right. ... show more

Purchased 3 of these for kitchen windows. They look great although a novice installer might have trouble with the minimal instructions. I would purchase again when I replace blinds in my other damp areas (kitchen, bath) where wood is inappropriate.

We ordered 3 sets of blinds for a very large window and after opening the first box and inspecting it thoroughly, it appeared that didnt come with necessary hardware to install. Aka the screws. Overall the product is good a little higher priced than normal but nonetheless in a time where the majority of items are imported and due to current world irregularities. They'll do. ... show more
