Description

The minimum depth required to mount blind is 1 1/2 inch. The minimum depth required for flush-mounting is 3 inch. Our blinds are crafted with high quality components including high profile steel head rail and quality PVC foam slats. Our blinds resist heat and humidity, and are great for all indoor areas including the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. Installation instructions, a 3 1/4" decorative valance, valance clips, a tilt wand mounting brackets, and screws are included. Valance returns or ending corner valances are NOT included. Mounting screws provided are best for drywall or sheetrock only. They are not for concrete or metal surfaces.

The media could not be loaded. Originally ordered a size too big and used - recommend measuring properly and maybe going a size down from what you expect to fit. Easy to install with a drill (run a pilot hole first!!) and some patience. Has a little light leakage but not a dealbreaker for me at all. Super sturdy and sharp white paint look. Tilt wand and raising/lowering works perfectly. Valance has nice crown molding and I love the attention to detail. Excellent find and I will be getting more for my house. ... show more

I’ve purchased four of these for my parents home. I plan to buy some more for other family members. They have used fabric curtains almost their lives and thought blinds were too expensive to buy. I figured I’d take a chance and try these because the price is reasonable and the “open box” option is ideal for me since I’m on a budget. Note: I had some issues with the first set of blinds we bought because the measurements were off, but I was able to returned them and get another one that worked and fit perfect. Set up: all you need is a drill. I chose to not use the screws that came with the set because they looked a little cheap (aluminum) and instead used some other steal ones I had laying around (personal preference). The entire process took approximately 15 minutes for each window. The hardest part is taking down old blinds, cleaning your windows, and snapping on the last decorative part that cover up the bracket. Overall although fake wood, it looks durable and sturdy and does not look cheap at all. They look like custom made blinds that I’ve seen elsewhere. Feeling greatful these are an option & I can revamp my parents home. Tip: the pre set sizes are great but feel free to size down as instructed because the mounting will eat up some space. Bought the US Window And Floor 2" Faux Wood 35" W x 60" H from the Amazon Warehouse store. I only needed one to replace my 16 yr old garage unit. This product has a metal header and metal brackets. The header didn't fit the old brackets since it is heavier duty than my original one, but still easy to install if you have installed some before. The slats are also thicker. The rod inside header (controls tilt) is metal. This is the second one I tried, my first was from dez, and the header was plastic and the brackets were also plastic. Returned it. This is made in Vietnam. If you only need a small quantity then try shopping in the Amazon Warehouse for a bargain. My unit looked brand new. ... show more

I purchased a set of these for our dining room. When I unpackaged them, the top frame was slightly bent in one place (looked like during the manufacturing process, not a shipping damage), but no one would see it once it was up, and it was not serious enough to return it. Once I got the side braces mounted, I mounted the center brace directly in the center of the window. When I tried to slide the blinds into all three braces, they didn't match up (I didn't have the side braces touching the top of the window frame, partly because of the bracket covers that raise and close to hold the blinds inside the braces). Plus, putting the one center brace they supplied me with directly in the center of the window makes it so that it runs right into the center string. So, I left the center brace off, because I didn't want to take out all my side screws and move them 1/8 of an inch, and it still seems very sturdy when I pull on the blinds. Another disappointing aspect of these, and maybe there's an adjustable feature I don't know about that US Window can enlighten me with, but when the blinds are all the way down, they are uneven (see the last 2 pictures). No matter how I pull and push from the bottom, they don't lay flat. The top valance looks nice and puts on that polished, finishing touch, but I feel it should've been slightly longer (see pic 5). When I ordered them, I followed their measuring requirements, but feel the valance leaves a slight gap. But none of this is enough for me not to recommend them. They look great, and are fairly easy to install. The panels are smooth and clean-looking. When closed, light still seeps in a bit (2nd photo) but blocks out a good chunk. Nothing's perfect, and these are all minor complaints that don't take away from the beauty of the finished, affordable product. ... show more

I've installed 9 of these in the last 6 weeks, varying in width from 22" to 60". Every product package was complete and installation time was less than 30 minutes each, not counting the demo of the previous blind, which varied. Product looks great and works perfectly in every window. The valance is a plus in that it hides the ugly head at the top of the blind. I highly recommend this product, but offer three recommendations: 1.throw away the phillips screws provided, they are soft and will strip out easily. I used #8 x 1 1/4" torx screws with a power driver. 2. the longer blinds thankfully have a middle hanger. Don't mount it in the exact center as most of these will have a cord in the center - move it about an inch to one side or the other.3. Attach the plastic hangers for the valance before locking the head piece all of the way in or you will have to uninstall it to attach them. Lastly, all measured widths were true. I had one fit snuggly, but that was my error. Measure your opening in 3 places as the directions state and use the narrowest dimension(minus 1/2") I did not, and found that I had one window that was not quite true, top to bottom. ... show more
