Very easy to install and cools quite a large space. Extremely easy to use and the digital display is one of the best I’ve used. Great value for the price. The only negative I can come up with is that it is very heavy but even that with two people was simple. Would definitely buy again and may even buy a second unit.     • The unit works well in general. Unit button controls failed. Poor instruction manual.
Update 8/18/24 - The company has been VERY responsive to my problems with the unit. They have refunded my total cost and are sending me parts to hopefully repair the front panel control problem. I can't say enough good things about their support. I have raised my rating to 4 stars from 3. And I publicly thank them for their exceptional support performance. By the way, the unit has been cooling fine through all this. Happy with the noise level and cooling. I find the remote a little strange but it works. The issue is the controls on the front panel have stopped working. I have (8/13/24) just reached out the the manufacturer by email. I will update this review pending their response. I would have given it a 4 star if the buttons had kept working. A 5 star if the manual was more informative. I noticed another customer has had the same problem. ... show more

    • Broken within days - *UPDATED*
**Updated review** I came to update my review because the manufacturer finally offered a full refund AND they are sending a replacement. Still no issues with one of our units so, I’m hoping this was an anomoly. On the functioning unit, it’s been fantastic. It blows cold or can run on “quiet” mode and maintain a comfortable temperature without really noticing that it’s on. “Dry” mode is good when it’s dark outside but still in the upper 70s to low 80s and high humidity. It doesn’t allow you to set the temperature on “dry” mode but it generally seems to go as cool as possible. And very dry. Doesn’t work as well when it’s upper 80s to 100 and sunny though. But that’s where “Cool” does best. Overall, I like the design of these air conditioners and our functioning unit seems powerful. I’m impressed by the customer service of this company. They were quick to respond via email and even picked up when I called. I will report back when the replacement unit arrives. [Original review] We bought two of these air conditioners. One still works fine, the other broke within about two weeks. You can’t press any buttons, it keeps showing an error “86” and “30”. I reached out to the manufacturer and they had me clean the filter - not the problem but I tried. I explained that I reset the filter and the GFCI on the power cord and that the buttons still do not function and they replied saying “it may have been damaged in shipping and reduced the life of the display” and sent a link to a video showing how to tear down the entire unit to replace a circuitboard. This is a first for me. I’m very comfortable with electronics but this is ridiculous. The unit is not even a month old and the amount of work needed to replace the circuitboard is A LOT, if that even fixes the issue. So, now I’m stuck trying to get a return without having to pay a ton of money to ship something this heavy. What a ripoff. ... show more

    • Does not cool
AC does not cool, compressor cycles on and of every few minutes but air is only room temp. To return unit I must pay shipping which will be $200. This is 2/3 of original cost for unit. Completely useless and waste of $300. Upstreman has been no help at all. Can contact only through text and no help with shipping only offered $50 refund for inconvenience. Expected much much better from seller listed by Amazon. I will never buy heavy item through Amazon again due to problem with return shipping cost. Not my fault it doesn't work and I should not have to pay exorbitant shipping to get my money back. ... show more

Installation was not as easy as reviews and promotions made it seems. Still is more esthetic option for air conditioners. And air blows cold. Will update review if any issues occur I agree with other customers that it does make a loud vibrating noise occasionally. As of yet, I haven't had any issues with drainage. I was leery at first due to this having no reviews originally, but the price was right and I wanted a U-shaped AC. The manual was not very well written IMO, so I had to search for install videos of other AC units of a similar design to get a rough guess of how best to approach the installation. After taking many measurements and deciding to put it in the middle of the window sill, I was able to get it installed by myself (yes, it is ideal to have two people, but I had seen a video of a solo install and approached it the same way. Plus, it wasn't really heavy for me). The sticky parts on the white foam is not as ideal as having brackets to slip the foam into, so I'm not looking forward to the off-season if I decide to remove the window (I'll likely make my own cover for the outside during the off-season to keep it protected from the elements). The unit itself works pretty well so far with my initial testing. The breeze carries pretty far from the unit, even on the lowest setting, which is pretty whisper quiet. Even the highest setting is not obnoxious compared to other AC units. The remote is pretty easy to understand, but I did notice a small response lag, which is typical of these kinds of AC units due to it basically shifting gears/modes. The unit came undamaged and looks pretty good, especially after installation. I'm looking forward to using it for the summer. I think if there was a helpful video that the seller had made with clear instructions, I would have given this a solid 5 stars. ... show more

Does job bought this to cover a smaller room on lowest mode and it puts the loudest part out window a foot from house so now I can hear so much more that's going on and still able to sleep right next to it
