If you love Thor or Asgardians in general then this is an expansion for you. This set brings back artifacts you add to the gameplay along with fun characters like beta ray bill, lady sif, and the warriors 3. Fight the masterminds including Hela. This along with any other expansions can be added to the original game set for more endless combinations. ... show more

Marvel Legendary Asgard is a huge missed opportunity. This SHOULD have been a big box expansion. The source material and possibilities therein would've easily supported it. Instead we get a decent small box expansion which is just ok. THE GOOD: Hella as a mastermind, and a good one. The Hero's Three! Fire Giants! Artifact key word/throw mechanic is pretty cool. THE MEH: New Thor hero is kinda' weak. Maleki, the other mastermind is just ok Schemes are hit/miss. THE BAD: NO Frost Giants!?! NO Trolls!?! NO Dark Elves!?! NO HEIMDAL???? NO ODIN? Seriously? I guess we'll just have to wait for 'Heroes of Asgard 2' to get the rest. :/ ... show more

Easy to learn, hard to master, and fun for all ages. Gameplay is very straightforward, take your personal deck, use the cards inside to buy/defeat new cards, and then conquer the cityscape! I have all the expansions, I personally, would suggest this because it adds a large replay ability since you could virtual NEVER have one game play out like the last. Between the masterminds, villains, and hero’s, it ends up being a different game every time! Easily one of my favorite board games to date! Would recommend for any marvel fan who enjoys “card games”! ... show more
