Frame arrived quickly. It took my husband and I 2 hours to put together. A power drill is needed to assemble the middle frame. It’s wood with nails. This part was a little tricky to put together. I bought this bed frame for my 9 year old daughter. Item is as described, easy to put together, feels sturdy, and is absolutely adorable. Upholstery is a velvety material. It comes with blanket slats (not sure what to call them) so there’s no need for a box spring. Looked great and I was really excited. Last step in putting it together were those slats that support the mattress. They didn’t all reach. As soon as my 8 year old laid down it collapsed. The screws pulled. I’d return it, but it was no easy task putting it together as other things like screws didn’t catch properly… so now I have to go buy wood to build it myself… It looked so nice and sturdy too because I never even start if it looks flimsy. Edit: seller reached out unprompted to remedy the situation. I had already fixed it so they offered a partial refund. I’m truly happy with their customer service and although there was the initial issue I’m very please that outcome. ... show more

The product is not as advertised. The long sides of the bed frame are actually two pieces that must be assembled. Also two metal legs must be used to support the bed in addition to the other normal legs. It's very easy to accidentally kick on those metal legs and hurt your toes. I don't recommend this bed unless you wear shoes all the time. I also don't like the seller uses pictures not reflecting the actual bed. ... show more

This took about 30 minutes to assemble. Went together super easy, directions were actually all pictures. This is in my spare bedroom, we ordered a queen mattress that comes in a box. It fit perfect. Bed seems strong. I don’t know if I would want to move it around a lot, I think you would need to be taken apart and re assembled So once it’s put together I would not move it. ... show more

Very nice bed. Doesn't seem to sturdy but it's for my teen daughter. I thought it had legs all around but it only has legs on the bottomed footboard. The others are just stills. The middle and side bars seem to hold the weight and that's what doesn't seem sturdy. We will see how long this bed last. Well it was short lived. The middle of the bed fell in.
