This mixer is perfect for mixing resin. It comes with four paddles. That are really easy to clean after use. It has multiple speeds and spins right and left. The battery life seems to be amazing. I have not run it dead yet. My jobs are 3in deep and 8in tall and across. So I have to do multiple layers. The only thing negative I have to say is not really negative. If the paddle is not completely covered with resin you want to push the on switch down, so the paddle spins downward. If you push it up it will spin the paddle in an upward direction and it will throw little drops of resin up and make a bit of a mess. Which if I am not mistaken is what would happen regardless of the quality of the mixer. Like I said if the paddle is covered all the way it doesn't matter. It is small so it is easy to store. It also helps with my Carpal tunnel in my wrists. Before I got the mixer it was so painful to mix my resin. Now I feel no pain whatsoever. Over all it is a wonderful little gadget that does exactly what it is suposted to do. I tried to upload pictures but the site would not let me not sure why. ... show more

    • Works to smooth Shea butter!
I like to make my own lotions and creams but don’t like mixing them by hand or with my mixer. I was looking for something small and durable to mix and soften the Shea butter with. I came across this Resin mixer and thought I’d give it a try. The best mixer for the Shea butter and incorporating oils ever.! I had one that had to use batteries and got this one because it's rechargeable. It holds a charge for quite a while even after lots of use! This saves time AND joints! I love resin crafting and plaster crafting and it hurts to stir (I have fibromyalgia) so this has been amazing! The fact that it does all that AND holds a charge makes it well worth it! Also, and this is important, you can buy refills that have the drill bit end and they fit just fine! ... show more

    • Great Speed Control, But Finicky Switch
I do like the speed control and I get minimal bubbles after using the Upgraded Resin Mixer, Handheld Rechargeable Mixer. However, I can't give it 5 stars because it can be hard to turn to the off position due to the very touchy switch. Overall, it's a decent mixer with room for improvement.

I had the original version of this mixer - one with a metal circular spaceship-looking design. The original was...not great. I spent more time cleaning the device than using it as I use it to stir resin. This new unit comes with four blades, two large and two small, and uses a USB-C charging cable that is included to keep its charge. Able to go in forward or reverse (useful for mixing), and with a variable speed dial on the back of the unit, the angled blades provide excellent mixing capabilities. I don't know about its uses other than for resin bottles, but it's perfect suited to my own purposes. Hard to beat the price, as well! ... show more

    • This One Ran Right Out of the Box.
This is a simple device, a 5 volt 1500 mAh rechargeable battery using USB C cable (included.) It started when I removed it from the carrying tray protecting it inside the box. The switch in the middle of the handle is OFF in the middle position, while pushing it down towards the mixing paddle will produce a clockwise rotation and a blue light will indicate a right turning direction. Pushing the switch up produces a counter-clockwise motion with another blue light indicating a left turning direction. The paddles (4) are 2 larger and 2 smaller size. Putting the shaft into the motor unit takes a little force because it fits tightly, and it snaps in securely. Removing the paddle also takes some pulling because of the tight fit, THESE paddles WON'T be coming out by themselves or wobbling as they're being turned! The speed control is a rounded knob on the other end from the paddle. The stated rotation rates are 50 RPM to 300 RPM. It was running on whatever residual charge the battery had from QC Testing, so a full charge (in 2 to 3 hours) would enable the full-speed rotation for a considerable time. This is a good-looking tool, and it appears to be well constructed, but the instructions suffer because a translation will sometimes be difficult to understand. >> "The product can be changed to charging side work, no need to worry about insufficient power can not be used." (???) The important thing is to find out how long you can expect the mixer to run with a particular substance (Like Epoxy or Silicone) and NOT have to be recharged in order to keep working. Using the slower speeds is probably a better idea until you know more. If you do this a lot you might already have another mixer ready to take over. This is probably a good idea anyway, because once you start mixing and then have to wait for the recharge your 2 part mix might be ruined as it starts to cure. A motorized mixer will give much better results than hand-mixing, but you need to know what it can do. ... show more

It's a great price and the mixer does well! I wish I had bought one sooner, because handmixing my epoxy resin was really hurting my hand. It's super easy and simple to clean, and the perfect handheld size.
