  • Easy replacement for average pool owner
Watched video on YouTube to replace sensor on my JANDY JX1 400N. Took 20 minutes. It’s located on right side of heater where water intake and outflow are located. I turned off power, released pressure in filter by opening release valve. Drained heater with a thumb screw beneath sensor. Removed old bad sensor and cut wire there. I open front panel and located where 2 wires were screwed in. I pulled new wire through and screwed in. My shortcut was. I put new sensor in and taped new sensor wire to the old one and pulled it through the right panel with out removing side panel. Saved 20-30 minutes. ... show more

  • Bought as a contingency replacement
I haven't had to use this because this was bought as a contingency piece for when my sensor goes out again (as they're known to do). The piece seems of professional quality and would work well for my application.
