My pool heater (used only for the jacuzzi) stopped working and there was an error code, which I googled and found out that I needed a new stack flue sensor. I'm not handy but I was easily able to install this sensor in my pool heater. I just needed a flat head screwdriver to open the front panel. I looked at a couple YouTube videos to see exactly what I was looking for once the panel was removed. Then it was just a matter of disconnecting the old sensor and connecting the new one. We received a quote for repair to our Stack Flue Sensor from a local pool company, because our Jacuzzi wasn't getting hot. They quoted us $180 for this part and $95 for the install/labor. I decided to look up the cost of the part, to see what the markup was, and boy what a HUGE markup. I then saw a 1 minute video that showed how to switch this out--piece of cake. I am a woman, who is handy but wouldn't say this is my lane in terms of repairs, and it took me all of 10-15 mins to replace. Start to finish. The hardest part was removing the old/chewed up part.
