Okay, out of the box I was very disappointed because the battery did not have an LED [red/green] to indicate charging status. That's the way it's described on the webpage. So I charged the first battery overnight before putting it to use. Wow! First, it cuts great; you can multi-snip branches as large as 1.5" in diameter; anything under an 1" is like "cutting thru butter". Second, the mini window on the tool does tell you state-of-charge; seems to take a long time to get below 60% and then, wham, quickly dead. Overall, I get about 500 snips per charge. Third ... and this is the neatest discovery ... it uses the same battery as my Tietoc 6" mini chainsaw! A word of caution ... don't get "friendly" with this tool; be alert at all times. This tool will easily and quickly sever a finger if you're careless with it. ... show more
