I thought I would try them, even though not my normal brand. I do a lot of machining Delrin and you can always see bit marks. These end mills not only cut like butter, but they left a beautiful glass finish. They are very accurate to size. I always have to watch the speed and feeds, but these seemed to open up my range. Where I had been using 3/8 inch and quarter inch router bits these little eighth inch compression Bits I can make a single passes at full three quarter of an inch depth at 50 inches a minute without using tabs on the parts it cut smoothly with almost perfectly finished edges, and the parts stay in place. They're just really great Bits for being so small and be able to cut through such depth and single passes and speed as far as inches per minute. I've used the same bit to cut several projects and it looks like it's going to dull without ever breaking. I highly recommend these Bits to anyone running a CNC router for doing three-quarter inch birch, beech and oak plywood or MDF. These Beauties handle it great! ... show more

Cheap and chew through 3/4" birch plywood on a CNC machine without any issues. People who are reviewing and complaining that they are snapping too easily are running the wrong feeds and speeds. Do some research and experiment with what you're cutting on and once you dial it in, these things will cut like a hot knife through butter. Just be sure to watch deflection as the bottom of the cuts may not mat the top of the cuts if you're running too quickly through the material. If that's the case, just slow down your feeds and speeds proportionally until you get the result you need. With this cost, it's not too expensive to really experiment and dial it in. Don't be afraid to break a few while figuring it out. ... show more

Puede cortar plywood o melamina de 1/2in en un pase a una velocidad de 70in como mantequilla. Hasta puedes cortar en 100in si problemas dependiendo del tamaño de la figura. Increíble!

I have a dremel that I have been using for router work on pine trim molding while rebuilding our fire damaged 1912 home. I had purchased a couple sets of HSS Titanium Router Bits, only to find them pretty much worthless after a few inches of cutting in soft pine. I was attempting a 3/8" deep channel 3/4" x 5" and they would just lose their edge in a few inches. Using little pressure and only going 1/8"' deep per pass made no difference, they just seemed to be decorative toys. These Hozly bits are the real deal. They will cut soft pine like warm butter. They work really swell in a Dremel, just be sure to use a wrench to tighten your chuck. ... show more

Awesome buy. Cheapest you can find for up/down cut bits and they last on average about 10-15 cuts of 48"X48" plywood or MDF on my CNC machine at insane feeds/speeds until I have some rough edging. I cut 1/4" and 1/2" material in one pass and they hold up every time. Will always buy these over anything else. ... show more
