First a word of warning -- I know from experience that when one of these pens are New & un-used, they each come with a tiny "bulb" of wax at the tip which must be peeled off before the pen can be used. If you receive these pens and they do Not have that bulb at the tip, then you'll know you've actually received a used product, and should contact your seller. Now, on to the review.... Prior to my current position at a hospital, I had never used these pens but have become impressed enough to buy a dozen for my personal use at home. They are consistently dependable and have a very good flow of ink, as well as a good quantity of ink so they last long! Also, I just think they're made well, for example, the retracting mechanisms have never failed or fallen apart like some poorly-made pens do. Highly recommended. ... show more

Many of these pens decided to explode for no apparent reason. If it were only one, I would not have cared. But I have counted at. Least 4. That's pretty unacceptable and more than a mere coincidence. However I like these pens so much that I will try another batch.

Ink runs out fast. Wish they only sold the ink piece rather than the whole pens. Hate throwing away the whole pen for one of its parts.

    • Half of the pens were garbage.
Only able to use half of the pens, if even. The rest were either dried out and not recoverable, or the ink barrel was only 1/3 full and still dried out, or they leaked and were too messy to clean up. I never had this problem when ordering them directly from office depot, I wouldn't by them from Amazon again. ... show more
