    • Bad design and broke in less than a month

This could be a good unit. It’s generally quiet, and worked well for 3 weeks. Here is the problem 1. You can’t set it to display the ACTUAL temp constantly. You can get it to flash the actual temp for about 6 seconds, but that’s it. Why would I want it to display what temp it is set for? I’m the one who set it. I know that already. This forced me to buy a separate temperature reader so I could make sure it was actually doing its job. Which it did for only three weeks… 2. After three weeks one of the built in temperature gauges broke and thought the temperature was too high. It wasn’t. I know this because I had the independent gauge that was reading just fine. Thank god I bought that, because the fridge responded by trying to freeze the rest of my wine by running the compressor/fan nonstop. The independent gauge alerted me to this when it dropped below 45 (the zone was set at 54). Watch the video where the second zone says “H1.” This is the exact thing that happened to me and it’s clear that I could’ve ruined my wine or pissed away $700 if I didnt spend the money for the independent reader and this piece of junk didn’t break in the first month. TLDR- Bad design that broke in the first month and tried to freeze my wine. AVOID. ... show more

I bought this wine refrigerator because its retro design is perfect for my old home, it has a nice vintage look and works well. It hums every now and then to control the temperature, but unless you're sleeping in the kitchen, it's no big deal. have only had this cooler for a couple of weeks, but so far it has performed as advertised. It cooled quickly, quietly and has held the temperatures we set for each zone. We used another gauge to measure the temperature and it is- so far right on the mark. The wine refrigerator itself is easy to use and the temperature controls are simple to understand. The wine fridge also comes with an instruction booklet, which I thought had interesting illustrations. It arrives very quickly and the packaging is very protective with lots of polystyrene foam. If you want a cool looking wine fridge that actually works well without having to spend a lot of money, then this is worth it. ... show more

This fridge looks nice and is pretty quiet. I would not give it 4 stars because the shelves do not have enough space to hold as many bottles as it says: Single rows only. It holds less than half of what is advertised. The dual climate is limited: one zone goes to 41* the other only goes as low as 54* so if you like your white wine cold, it will be limited to 3 shelves: red for the rest. This is a really nice cooler. Overall, seems really well made. The shelves have stops to prevent tipping when extended out, which is nice as they do get heavy with bottles on them. Fired right up! The temp is easy to set and it maintains well. It is not silent, but I don't find the compressor noise offensive at all. Just a low hum more or less. Customer service has been very good as well. We bought it. We like it. Functional, attractive. After about3 months it started beeping. We got it to stop. Then the next day noticed it was beeping again. Control panel would not respond. Trouble shooting guide was vague: temperature too low or too high. But control panel would not allow you to change temp. Customer service was great and we will try this again. I hope it works. I like it otherwise. Oh and outside of Amazon customer service there is no number or email to get proper service guy or help if something goes wrong again ... show more

    • Stopped working correctly just after the 30 days, cannot reach anyone from UNTOMAX

I ordered this Dual Sone Wine Fride and it was delivered on July 9th, 2024. It seemed to work fine at first as I set both settings accordingly. However just after the 30 day period one of the zones temperatures was not working correctly so I contacted the manufacture, Untomax at their support@untomax.com email they provided me with and sent them the pictures of this as they said they were concerned about this. Since then I have not heard from them and there is no way to contact them on the phone. This is still not working correctly and I would like to have this replaced or returned and I will order another manufactures product. HOW IT SEEMS I AM OUT $650 ON THIS PIECE OF JUNK. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, OR ANYTHING, FROM THIS COMPANY, IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REACH ANYONE. ... show more
