This was so silly and I really wanted to use it but it came in and just doesn’t work. It also came in the wrong color which made me sad cus I wanted gold but it’s fine cus that’s the least of the worries since it’s BROKE. I even got like my own dongle and it works but the mic just won’t register on my phone, like it just sounds normal and doesn’t connect to it. It’s sad. I wanted to be silly. Also the instructions are all funny and have typos alot it’s so funny and I would love it if it weren’t for the mic not working :( 0/10 buy bc I wasted my money ... show more

I saw another review saying that you need an actual Apple adapter for the mic to work, and I just wanted to say I had that same issue. Other off-brand (even if it’s Apple MFi certified) adapters won’t work and let you record. Other than that I would say it’s a decent mini mic.

I was super excited to get this, I’ve always wanted one of these. I got this for a white elephant present, I couldn’t test it out beforehand if it worked or not because I don’t have an adapter nor a headphone jack. Luckily the person that won the gift did and we tried it out. The microphone is not like a real life one that you can hear yourself talking. It’s after you record the audio and disconnect the microphone that you can hear it work. So IT DOES WORK JUST NOT HOW YOU WOULD EXPECT, or at least how I expected. ... show more
