Never had this brand of a power supply before but is just works very perfectly and better than I expected It has plenty of Amps to run 2 or 3 radios and very good on the voltage meter and the Amp meters I also like the white LED lights on the meters so you can see it quite well , and didn’t need a separate power cord to run the lights in the both meters on the front of the power supply, for the voltage and the Amperage meters I am very satisfied with this product and does more than I thought it would It’s built very well and not that heavy at all and does just what I want it to do I would give it 5 stars and has more than amperage than I need ... show more

Arrived well packaged, no visible damage. Temporally plugged my RA25 GMRS radio to just quickly test the unit and it seems to work just fine. I like having the lighted meters for Voltage and Amps. Just getting into radio so this will hopefully serve my needs for several years.

Running this on a Yaesu FT847, works well, plenty of reserve power at 50 amps. No noise, and otherwise works fine. One issue, also mentioned by others is when you shut it down you get the odd voltage pulsing as it turns off. I try to shut the radio off first, but I don't always remember. Does not seem to be a problem, but would be nice if it didn't do it just for piece of mind. ... show more

I DECIDED TO PURCHASE THIS INVERTER FOR TWO REASONS ONE IF IT EVER GETS HOT ENOUGH IT HAS A FAN THAT WILL COME ON AUTOMATICALLY AND TWO FOR IT BEING 30 AMPS. I GOT IT TO POWER MY CB RADIOS AT 13.8 DC VOLTS AND IT DOES ABOUT 14.1VOLTS WHICH IS GREAT FOR WHAT I WANT IT TO POWER. I HAVE A 40 CHANNEL CB AND 100 WATT KICKER AND THE FAN HAS NEVER COME ON SINCE I PLUGGED IT IN TO USE IT. IT IS WHISPER QUIET AND NO INTERFERENCE COMING IN THE RADIO FROM IT. ALSO THE UNIT ITSELF HAS NEVER GOT WARM TO THE TOUCH EITHER, LIKE FROM OVER DRIVING IT. SO IF YOUR WANTING TO SET UP A CB BASE STATION IN THE HOUSE, DON'T OVER LOOK THIS INVERTER WHICH IS SMALL AND OF GOOD QUALITY GOOD VALUE AND PERFORMANCE AND WHISPER QUIET.
