I’m a truck driver but don’t want all the adjustments that the bigger radios have, but with a good grounded Antenna it will reach about 7 miles which is plenty enough for me.

After a year of having it it just stops working checked all connections and fuse and that’s all good but the radio won’t turn on anymore very disappointing

    • Simple and compact
Works great, and feels well made. Simple controls and great audio clarity when properly tuned to the antenna. The speaker is on the bottom of the unit, so keep that in mind. It’s so small I mounted it to my overhead console. I can hear the speaker clearly and reach the mic easily.

Poor quality. Never worked from the start. Sent it back to the company and they did nothing and sent the same unit back to us.

    • Disappointed! Broke at the Mic Base After 1-2 years!
I’ve only had this CB radio for a couple years if that. And the other day it stopped working. The connections where it goes into the four pin connector I believe have come loose or disconnected. The plastic sleeve that slides over it down in the four pin connector broke about eight months into owning it. Which then allows heavy flex on the rubber and I believe it wore down the wiring and broke it. I tried to use it during a storm and it would not work. As I jiggled around the cable once in a while you could hear the PA clicking. So I can tell that it’s something to do with the wiring. I am very mechanically inclined. And probably could take it apart and fix it. But I don’t see the point. I can buy another one for $19. so Tonight I had to purchase a replacement mic for $19.00. This is an outstanding contacts here for the money. But just beware it will break eventually. ... show more
