I've had the door lock for about 10 months and then the lever would not catch the latch. I contacted their support and opened a ticket. They sent me a couple of new latches to install and none of them worked. I emailed support with the results and sent a video, and within 5 days they sent me a whole new unit. I packed up everything I had to send back and they said don't worry about it. The new lock they sent had some updated features that made this door lock even easier to install and use. The only negatives I have, which aren't major, the app definitely needs refining. A little buggy, but not bad. The keypad doesn't work perfectly and is hard to see in the daylight, but this is always the issue with lit-up touch pads. Definitely a solid 4-star, but their support makes this product a 5-star hands down. ... show more

I wanted a smart lock for a while for my back door. I use the back door a lot since we live near my sister and brother in law, so we normally go over there to have dinner together. The annoying thing is sometimes we forget to bring the key and we have get the spare key from them. Now on to the lock, on first impression right out the box, the lock is packaged really nicely and everything was easy to access. It was so well packaged that Amazon shipped it as it without putting it in a separate box. The lock feels very high quality and have a nice weight to it. It is definitely heavy and does not feel cheap at all. For the installation part, it came with a template to help you drill out the proper hole if you door isn’t pre-drilled. My door was pre-drilled and I only had to remove the previous door knob. It fit perfectly and the best thing was there was no extra drilling needed. I was very impressed with the instruction manual, in my experience a lot of instruction tend to have a few section that aren’t explained very well and it requires some trial and error to figure it out. This did not happen to me during the installation, the instruction was clear and concise. If you aren’t into reading manual, there is an included QR code which you can scan with your phone to take you to a video. Also if you are one of those few people who actually do not have any tools around, fret not. It comes with a little nifty screw driver which have one end as a Phillip and one end as a flat head. All the screws are of type Phillip, so you will not need the flathead end for the installation. I like the screwdriver enough that I will keep it on my computer desk for small jobs. Installing the lock by took about 15 minutes. Once the locked was installed, I downloaded the app for it and it was pretty easy to navigate. There are 4 tabs: Lock status, Users, Logs, and Settings. It took no time for me to set up multiple user and have each of them set up their finger print and access code. Once all this was set up, we were all able to use our fingerprint and code without any issue. The finger printer scanner has been very responsive. My sister in law was so impressed, that she’s thinking of getting one for her back door as well. The apps also have an auto-lock feature that will enable you to set when the lock will lock itself. This is very useful for me because I actually forgot to lock the door quite often only to wake up to realized that my back door were unlock the whole night. Some other feature like smart notification and controlling the lock remotely will require you to have a Bridge Wi-Fi adapter. Without the adapter you will only be able to connect to the lock via Bluetooth which limits the smart feature of the lock. Currently if you were to buy the smart lock with the bridge bundle, you only need to pay $20 extra, but if you were to buy it separately, the bridge will run you $50. I was able to email customer service to ask if I can still get the bridge at a discounted price. I was skeptical that they would do anything about it and just when I thought I would have to buy the bridge at full price, I got a reply from customer service with a promo code to buy it at the discounted bundled price. Kudos to great customer service. If anyone plan on buying this smart lock, I definitely recommend getting the bridge adapter as well. ... show more

These locks are great, easy to install and set up. They are heavy duty and feel premium to the touch. The fingerprint reader is amazingly fast - seriously, it’s fast. We had one problem with one of the locks (very minor) where a tab on one of the pieces was broken. We contacted customer support and they shipped a whole new lock (instead of just a replacement piece). We got it fast. Good experience with the customer support and we like the locks. We have 5 of them in various places around our campus and they work well. Each lock is set up independently, I wish I could copy over users and fingerprints to other locks but I have not been able to find out how to do that. Maybe user error. This product is really high quality and well made, durable and tough as it should be as a door lever. This is a top notch product, not like other cheap stuff made by other companies. I used mine for about two years and works really well. Very dependable and has functioned properly everytime. I liked it so much I purchased a second one for my rental property. I like how the product offers an app for smart phones like iPhone that connects with lever allowing me to open and set passwords for folks to enter. The app also helped me to know who entered the unit and when. I have it in my rental condo. It is so convenient since I do not need to meet in person to give or collect keys from new renters, cleaners, or building maintenance (in case they need to come in). I know exactly when they came in and additionally, i can delete their access to the unit at anytime by deleting or limiting their access to certain time of the day or week. I decided to write this review because I had a small technical concern and i contacted the company. Wow, what a great service. For a product which I bought in 2020, going on 3 years, the company’s support team were extending their assistance to assure I was satisfied with the product and their support. Also, the support team periodically emailed me, checking to assure my concerns were fully resolved. They would not stop until I say, yes, my concerns were resolved. I really needed a great customer service company like this after many disappointing encounters with other companies. To help on a product which the company sold more than 2 years ago? I did not think a company like this exist and yes, this is one that I can recommend based on my very very positive encounter. Since this company truly exceeded my expectation on customer service, I am taking time to write this review.
