  • Great affordable home gym staple
I've had this thing since just after new years (about 3 months) and have used it 4 days a week. I love it, as its simple, but sturdy and a great addition to our basement gym. I like that it has the multiple pull up options up top but isn't too tall for our basement gym setup. I've seen a lot of comments about how difficult it is to assemble, but my experience was great. I'm not engineer, but the directions were comparable to any other "assemble at home" furniture you would have delivered, and only took me about 2 hours. I did use a drill adaptor instead of the hand crank allen-wrench in the kit, which definitely save me some time (just don't overtighten!). ... show more

  • Perfect home gym squat rack
I was missing the bolts and washer packet somehow, (easy mistake in packing, it happens), but customer service was very nice and sent me another pack. Very easy to put together, each part that needs to be labelled is labelled, instructions are easy to follow. Not too big, perfect for limited space in a home gym. Very sturdy when tightened to spec. Optional 2in arms for olympic weights, clamps included. Pullup and dip bars included. Very satisfied. ... show more

  • The whole package
This product is awesome! Super affordable, easy to set up, and offers a huge range of different workouts. It’s also very stable and perfect for 99% of people. However, if your a power lifter and plan on squatting over 500Ibs, I would probably spend a little bit more money on another rack.

  • Lighter duty than I expected, but will likely do the job
As someone used to commercial equipment, the rack is much lighter duty than I expected. I confirmed the metal is in fact 1.5mm, which is thinner than I imagined. The review by Jayden Mulder using this rack to squat 600 lbs was a selling point for me, since that is also my max (although after re-reading it, he tested the weight at 495 lbs). After unpacking, I wouldn’t have thought this rack is built for that. It turns out it is not. The first page of the instructions offers weight limits that are much lower (photo included). The final assembly is light enough I can pick it up and move or swing it around, and it wobbles when doing pull-ups. For these reasons if I were shopping at a storefront I would have gone for a heavier duty commercial rack at six times the price. But for what this rack is, it seems pretty well engineered and finished. The powder coating seems good, didn’t notice any bad welds, the robin-egg blue is a bit odd. The cables appears solid. Overall I expect it will do its job. But there’s an element of “fingers crossed” that I don’t want in the most critical unit of my home gym. Assembly was a breeze. 1.5 hours to assemble the rack solo, 1.25 hours to add the cable system, plus maybe another half hour to unpack everything and tighten all bolts after assembly. A second person is definitely not needed. It was cheaper to purchase the rack and pulleys separately than together due to a sale offered through Amazon. Actual footprint of rack plus cables is 62W x 64"D. I allow min 8 ft width to accomodate a 7 ft olympic barbell, and add 9" to the depth to accomodate a 45 lb plate on the rear pulley bar. These cable-in-rack modular designs are cool in that they give you more options than just a traditional rack. The only deviations I made during setup were to bolt the lower pulley into the floating blue bracket in the third hole up (instructions show second hole) which keeps the lower cable flush with the lower pulley, and to install that landmine thingy on the outside of the rack by flipping the parts. The landmine was the most difficult to figure out by looking at the instructions, but once you have a basic idea of what’s up you’ll figure it out by handling the parts. A nice-to-have would have been to make the chinup bar position adjustable, since in my current space my head goes right into a lowered ceiling. So I’ll either drill another hole at the rear of the upper bars to move the chin-up bar above the pulleys (and add a cross-brace to the rack in the front), or more likely position the rack elsewhere. Initial impression 8/10. ... show more

  • Great for low ceilings!
I was surprised at the quality of this cage. Instructions were easy to follow and took me about 2 hours to put up on my own. I have 82" basement ceilings, and this fit perfectly under the rafters. I flipped the pull up bar and aligned the cage so that I can do pull ups in between my rafters. Rack overall is quite solid and sturdy, with minimal sway. Only complaint are the J-hooks. The weight limit is only listed at 220 lbs., and they should also have a lock pin to prevent from rotating so easily. Also, the rubber guards are poorly secured and already slipped off on one side after a few uses. My solution will be to simply buy some quality j-hooks with 1" pins and use them instead. Still, for $250, its hard to beat. ... show more

  • Solid cage & customer support
Fast shipping. Needed to contact them with a question and got a response within 24 hrs. Easy assembly, while I could have assembled it by myself I chose to get help holding some parts a couple of times. The cage is very solid for my use. I’m not powerlifting, but I did order some different J-hooks as the hooks that come with the rack are long. This means that I have to pull my bench out pretty far to have room to take it off the hooks to complete the rep, leaving little space between the hooks and the rack. These J hooks are also only rated for 220 Lbs. The height listed is only for the rack poles, the pull-up bar sits higher. I specificity chose this rack because my ceiling height in the basement is about 82” so I just mounted the pull-up bar upside down. Overall, this rack will suit my needs, keeping my safe while I lift by myself. Can’t beat the price for a cage this solid. ... show more

  • Great economy cage
Not for the heaviest lifters, but I feel safe squatting 250+ pounds. Went together in about an hour and all the pieces were there. Got an email from the seller one day after placing order telling me when to expect arrival and arrived 2 days later. Well satisfied with purchase.

  • Way awesome!
It showed up in two different boxes two different days which was annoying but power cage is very sturdy and awesome .it took me 54 minutes to assemble with an impact drill and socket. I cant Comprehend how it took someone else 4-6 hrs to assemble .
