When I came across these bulbs and read they had mesh WIFI technology built into them, I was very intrigued. They even claim to be the first manufacturer to do this. If you're not familiar with Mesh WIFI systems, they essentially provide a blanket of WIFI control across all of your devices for better connectivity. So far these bulbs seem to be doing a better job than my Cudy Mesh system itself. I do think Govee produces better smart bulbs when it comes to the hues of colors you can achieve and has a better user app, but these are definitely giving them a run for their money. These have a high color rating over 90, which means you're getting very true colors. While the price point is higher than Govee, the additional Mesh technology appears to be worth it. I'd like to see how they handle long term, but so far very impressed and will continue to keep my eye on this brand's upcoming technology. ... show more

We're slowly working on getting many items in our home moved to "smart" technology, not just for the ease of use but because of the energy efficiency of the entire system. Seeing this lightbulb kit I knew we had to get it to use on the lamps that we'd like to have on a timer and are interested in specific brightness levels (such as the two nurseries in our home with babies in them!) Setup was a BREEZE! you connect to the bulb, name it and put the location of the lightbulb on the app. You can then seamlessly integrate with Alexa and Google and I have had no problems thus far getting them to respond properly to my requests. Smart bulbs are nice, however, I have been a bit disappointed with these. I was hoping for a BLE bulb that would work with home assistant. I’m looking for BLE specifically to avoid having yet another dependency not he internet. There are so many smart home options but all seem to require a cloud account with a Chinese supplier. I really would like to find some inexpensive, bulbs or fixtures that only require local connectivity. These miss on that mark. They are however, fine bulbs. Their app works, and can be linked to Google and Amazon for voice assistant integration. They are bright and the color options work as advertised . One thing I found unusual is that when they are not setup they will always turn on and cycle through colors before settling into a warm white. Not a big deal, but if your like me and tend to install them, but may not get around to setting up right away, you have to deal with the color dance every time you turn them on until you do. RGB stands for red, green, and blue. Out of these colors, when combined in different ways, something like 16 million colors can be made. I don't know if humans can see 16 million colors with just our eyes, but we can see all the different variations these smart bulbs can make, and there are many. These bulbs are controlled by an app over Bluetooth or wifi and can be combined with other smart devices through out the home. The colors are bright and vibrant and can change the mood of a room. No issues connecting with Google Home. works as well as my set of Wyze smartlights. Just as bright, and I haven't noticed any difference in color temperature compared to Wyze. I am slowly trying to replace most used lightbulbs with smart lightbulbs.

These are nice for generating any particular color your desire. Sometimes there's a delay if the wifi is not working as quickly as you'd like it to, but many times it 1 second for a change up. One thing I wish these bulbs had was gradual change function...rather than a sudden shift to the color. Would be neat to see them flow from color to the next. And in that regard, it would be nice to have a couple flow programs that move from color to color, sort of lava lamp style or like those colored flame fireplaces. Overall, steady color is still nice though. If you use two on lamps near each other, you can create some cool shadow effects and color blends. I'm happy with them and they are 4 for me. ... show more
