I did a head-to-head comparison with a competitive roll-on 4% lidocaine product (begins with "A" and ends with creme). It was undeniable that the competitive product worked better despite both being labeled as 4% Because OTC products are not regulated like prescription products, you never can fully trust the concentration on the label. I thought the additional menthol would be a boost for this product and help with pain better. Nope. I also think "Tylenol" in the labeling is misleading. Although I read the label and knew this product does not have Tylenol in it (acetaminophen), others may have not have. I won't be buying again. ... show more

I suffer with back pain from the work I do. After a shower, I will put this on for that temporary relief. It allows me to get a good night's sleep on the more painful days.
