Took roughly 20 minutes to install for the Toyota Tacoma. It assembles to the bed rails and takes minor adjustment on the cover side to have it fit. When you need to hold things that are larger than the top, it can either be folded back (2 folds) or taken off entirely (2 min to do). There’s straps to secure it once it’s been folded into a configuration with the bed exposed so it won’t come undone. I noticed the weather stripping is not fully flush and I’ll need to find a way to make it fill my space better so water doesn’t flow into my bed from the front. I like that I can lock the tailgate with a key now and you can’t get inside (unless you cut the soft cover itself). Best way I can explain the material is like a reinforced camping tarp. I doubt hail will puncture the material and only sharp objects intentionally stabbed through could cut it. I’ve noticed over the past week MPG increase from general 18-19 mpg to 21-22 mpg on my back road commute to work on a 45-55 mph road. Seems to match studies of ~10% increase but I’m sure there are better streamlined tonneaus for this. Bottom line: Easy install, great on budget, keeps bed moderately secure from eyes and tempted thieves, and marginally saves gas mileage. ... show more

I put this tonneau cover on my 6' bed 2023 Toyota Tacoma and it's a perfect fit. I bought it mainly for the winter time so snow didn't collect in the bed of my truck and leak water all night. Also I wanted it for storing things in the back while driving so they didn't blow around. What I forgot to think about was that it really helps with improving gas millage. I live in the mountains and average about 17.5mpg. Yesterday I took a drive up to the pass from 4,300' elevation to 9,600' elevation and my average mpg when I got back was 19.8. That's the best MPG I've gotten yet, and I'm sure it's be even better for more flat driving. I highly recommend this cover. ... show more

Wish I'd bought one of these long ago. This was simple to install on a Tacoma and I'm very impressed with the quality. The covering is thick and the cross stringers are pretty beefy. This will add about an inch to the height of the bed but it's tapered outside edge minimizes any negative appearance issues. Haven't tested out mileage yet. After this was installed I got in the bed with the cover on and put silicone where there was any light showing. On a Tacoma there's a small height difference between the sides and the front of the bed, they provide extra weather seal for that but it will leave some small gaps in the front corners, silicone solved that and after a sitting significant storm the bed remained dry, going down the road might be different but it'll be minimal if there is any leaking. Good quality material, fits very well in Tacoma 5ft bed, easy installation and fast opening/closing tonneau cover. Did not test under the rain yet, cannot say about leakage at this time.

Before purchasing I researched quite a variety of different brands and decided on this one. Package was delivered a few days early. It took me about 30 minutes to install start to finish by myself on a 2020 trd off road Tacoma with the 5' bed. Haven't had to make any adjustments and have had it on for about a month. I noticed that the wind doesn't push my pickup around as much with the cover on it, and slightly improved fuel efficiency. Keeps moisture out very well. Good product. ... show more

Super good quality product. Packaging was superb, haven't had anything shipped to me in such nice container in a long time. Instructions were better than average, many vehicles represented so a bunch of skipping around but easy enough to follow. Fit was great even though the vehicle box is tapered and some adjustments were necessary. The cover could be about 1/2" longer for more coverage but not a problem. Arched bars and latching system was perfect, really fits nice and sheds water well. Supplied sealing tape is high quality and useful for those front corner gaps. I did not need to adjust the latching tensioners from the factory location, perfect fit first time. Bed rail clamps were really amazing quality, perfectly machined, smooth threads and high quality bolts. If I could change one thing, it would be to include 3 clamps per side instead of 2 for the model I purchased. Depending upon bed length they supply 2, 3 or 4 per side. The product looks great. Directions were not entirely clear on how to attach the brackets because on my truck there are rails to slide them into inside the bed. But still daily easy install and good fit. Very happy.
