I LOVE these lights! I've always wanted purple lights but most of the time they are a little too blueish or pastel. These aren't. I bought 2 just encase I needed more lights in my tree. I recently added a couple more sets (three pictured here in total) as my tree continues to grow and expand. One of the controllers from an older set quit remembering its last mode used when powered off and on so I replaced it with the controller from the new set and had it power two strings in series. When you string these together (you can run up to 3 on a single supply) the lights are slightly less bright than having them individually powered. The benefit of series lighting, however, is you end up with a spare controller and power supply should something fail in the future. The instructions suggest the controllers be kept away from direct exposure to water so I may wrap them inside a plastic baggie to help keep them dry. ... show more

More lights and multifunction controller for less money that the big box guys and these hold up to wet fall and winter weather.
