I use this as a desk mount for my Icom IC-705 and while it does work, I can’t really touch it while I’m operating because the clamp isn’t strong enough. I can’t imagine putting thousands of dollars of camera equipment on it. While I made it work for my application, I wouldn’t use it otherwise.

These aren't heavy duty. The clamp is OK but not a super tight clamp. I have gooseneck lamps with way stronger clamps. The ball joint is the same: it clamps OK, but not super secure. I needed two of these for some LED lights and this 2 pack for $13 was worth it. But I only need to adjust them once and can make sure there isn't too much strain on the clip. But for "active" use with any heavier item, this wouldn't be a great option. But for the price, they are fine. ... show more

I bought this to use with a ring light for zoom meetings. Instead of using the stand that the light came with, I use this clamp and attach to a shelf above my computer screen. Works really well. I didn't need two of them though.

Works pretty well for using phone as attachable webcam to monitor. If you have a curved monitor don't bother trying to put the clamp on top it will just sag. Putting it on the side works best, just be careful about placing it on your screen because it does clamp pretty tight and could damage your screen. ... show more
