The price was reasonable. The scent of this tea is so amazing! It just draws you in. The box said blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, black currants, and other flavors. I swear you can taste every last one of them. It was refreshing, and so soothing to drink a nice cup of hot tea with such good flavor combinations. The taste lingers, but in a good way! Just a good basic black tea that is heavily smoked. The black tea provides sweetness, and the smoke evokes flavors that scream campfire. The smoke could be a bit overwhelming for some, but if you like Smokey Islay Scotch whisky, and you like tea, this may be for you. I like the well sealed individual pouches to preserve freshness and flavor. They make this a good portable tea for taking to work or for a cup of tea in a camp site. ... show more

Excellent, full-bodied, flavorful tea, true to lemon and ginger flavor. Useful too as the ginger helps with upset stomach. Good value. High quality like every Twinigs tea I've ever had. A superior tea.

    • Makes a good, bold tea, even decaffinated!
Flavor Name: Irish Breakfast Decaf Size: 20 Count (Pack of 6)
So, I had to switch to decaffeinated tea due to medicine I take now that makes decaf all I can drink. I usually got replacement tea that as decaf are So bland I nearly gave up...but this Irish Breakfast tea, by Twinnings...this is really good. I add a single teaspoon of sugar or 1 packet of Splenda, and about an ounce of low fat milk and ah...hot, flavorful tea......the boxes come packed in a cardboard outer shell like box, no extra padding but each bag is in a foil packet and split into 6 inner boxes , none are damaged and the fresh by date is at least a year away. This is consistently good tea, I've had other Earl Greys that give me a stomachache or feel like the ratios are off. This always tastes great, the flavor is just where I want Earl Grey tea to be. I go through a box every few months!

I used to like this tea by itself, but either my taste has been changed or the ingredients changed. If you like holiday spice tea (cinnamon based), you may like it. Orange flavor isn’t overpowering. I personally would like more citrus presence. Since it looks like regular tea (color wise), I made a mistake. I poured tony splash of milk. It didn’t taste right. I don’t like my tea sweetened, but I cannot drink chai tea without sugar and milk. So I tried putting generous amount of honey (3 tsp) into this tea. The flavor became a lot more enjoyable. But I’m not sure what I’m liking is the tea or the honey… (the scent and spice is definitely there though). ... show more

    • Great Peppermint Tea- the taste of peppermint isn't overwhelming

With many peppermint products I have bought lately, the peppermint can sometimes be overwhelming- whether it is in taste or scent. A peppermint oil I got was so strong that when I first used it- it literally burned my skin until I got used to it. But this tea has a mild peppermint taste- even when you keep the bag in for a long time (sometimes I forget I am seeping my tea bag I drink tea so much). However, if you're looking for something that is very strong- you can put more than one bag in your cup- and overwhelm the senses. But this tea, like most Twinings products- is perfection. This is one of the favorite brand name for my tea drinking friends who also need decaffinated tea. So nice for afternoon tea break with little biscut to dip into tea. Lasting flavor, needs no sugar unless you want a touch. I would buy again for myself or for gifting. Nice size gift!
