Granddaughter was in need of a bed and a mattress. I first showed her the Loft Style Bed; which she was so excited about, I needed a mattress that would fit it. The requirement was a standard size twin, with a maximum height of 6 inches. I saw many mattresses to choose from; but I saw this 5 inch memory foam mattress, and I thought of saving the 1" shorter than the maximum recommended height for safety reasons. They live in a lower ceiling home, so this worked out the best. She absolutely loves sleeping in her new bed, on this mattress. She says this mattress is much better than her previous bed and mattress. So I would make both Amazon purchases again. ... show more

Thinner than shown on description... They are ok for kids, my 14 year old is using his as a topper to his old mattress, my 12 year old is using just this... It ended up being about 4 inches thick and on a metal platform bed alone it isn't comfortable for adults but my kid says it's alright.

I ordered three of the 5inch mattresses for my children . They have been unboxed now for more than the 72 hours and they still have not formed to the size . It is super thin and you can feel the bed frame when laying on them . Very disappointed.

I bought this for my children’s bunk bed to try out. I gave it the full 72 hours but unfortunately it only expanded to about 3 inches which was disappointing. My 5 year old hasn’t complained though.

The mattress did expand but not to 5 inches more like 3 inches and kind of rough to sleep on. Not real impressed.
