Two men were able to put this tent up. They put the top together on the ground first, covered with the canopy, then added the legs to lift. We created concrete tie down buckets with a large metal 22” long I-hook anchored in the center. Buckets were 80 lbs each. A lot cheaper than buying the weighted tie downs. The Tent: Definitely cooler temperature under the tent. The UV protection seemed to be accurate. The tent is NOT waterproof. More like water resistant. We had a surprise pop up thunderstorm roll in (joys of the Midwest) and the tent dripped water when it got soaked. But still better than the downpour. I have low scores for durability because it did not take much to bend the poles. The metal is not very thick or sturdy. The wind caught the tent and our tie buckets worked great! It remained standing. Two buckets fell over onto their sides on one end of the tent and the tent move a couple feet. Bent 4 poles on that same side. My husband seems to think we can straighten them but we have not had the chance yet to try. We were hoping we could find replacement poles instead. For the money, this tent is worth it. If you want the durability of the big event tents, then spend the $2-4K. Otherwise, this tent is really nice and comes with side panels. Others charge extra. ... show more

Bought this for my son’s wedding reception. Didn’t really expect too much, we just wanted a little shade and ambiance. I was really impressed by the ease of set up and quality of the materials, especially for the price! In addition to providing shade, it kept us dry when a light rain blew in late in the day. Definitely not a permanent structure, or designed for heavy use, but great for occasional get togethers when you want to add a classy touch. With proper care, this should last for years, although I can see where the fabric might not last that long, mainly because the white (at least) really shows the dirt, tree sap, bird poop, etc. I’m sure a professional cleaners could take care of it, or you can buy a replacement, but I’ve got a long way to go before I see any need for that. I am totally thrilled to have bought this canopy/tent. Easy set up and it held up well to the rain and wind. We used cement blocks, with the tie downs and left it up to dry for a couple of days. I was able to decorate and add lights for graduation party, and received many complements. Be careful where you place decorations so they won't get wet, where the drain holes are placed. A couple of tables had a little water on them. They had plastic table cloths, so it wiped right off. Well worth the purchase, and looking forward to using it again. ... show more

It is not what it appears to be in pics. It's flimsy and easy to bend and break. Plus, you pay more in shipping it back than what you paid to purchase the tent. This has been a horrible experience.

We used the tent for a Wedding reception and it worked out great. We didn’t put the sides on, since it was too hot out. Many comments were made about how nice it was by the guests. It seemed very sturdy even with a little breeze. Would definitely recommend. Setup took about 30 minutes and about the same to take it down. ... show more

Received my tent and noticed there was a very small hole in the top canopy of the tent. I reached out to the company and it took over a month of them offering me tiny amounts of money, $20 then after back-and-forth emails they offered 30 and then after yet more back-and-forth they offered me 50, which I did not want cash. I wanted an undamaged tent because it is really a good looking tent. Finally, I just asked them to send me a free return-shipping label to send back the whole thing and then I would just buy a new one which prompted them to order the part, which was also not without complications with this seller. They stated that they didn’t have any in stock at the factory and they need to make a new one, but that there was a shortage of workers so it would take some time. I suggested that they take the top out of one of the tent sets that were in stock in the warehouse and send it to me, and they could put aside that set while they wait for the factory to replace the tent top. I stated I shouldn’t have to wait, because I paid for a new tent and that would be the right thing to do from a customer service standpoint. Many more emails went back-and-forth but finally they did send me a tent top from China, which ironically came very quickly. Overall, the tent is adorable, and very decent quality for the price, as long as it doesn’t have a hole in it. Because dealing with the seller, after the fact is not easy. ... show more

My family has outgrown parties in my kitchen with everyone being a teenager or adult, for the most part, plus boyfriends and girlfriends, friends, etc. we needed to move the parties outside. This was SO WORTH IT. A review said it took 1.5 hours to assemble. We had 5.5 people and it took an hour on the first go, with all the tie-downs placed and everything. Disassembly is quite fast! The poles are all labeled and we just kept the original boxes to keep everything in. I absolutely love it. It went up even faster the second time at a bonus child’s party the next weekend. We used two sets of string lights we already had from Target across the center and fairly lights around the perimeter top poles (I purchased a set that was very close to the exact length thanks to an online oval circumference calculator lol). The first weekend was windy and it was very sturdy with all the tie downs and stakes in place. The next weekend, winds were 3-10 mph and we didn’t place the tie downs. Only the stakes on the poles. I would probably recommend doing it the right way, although it was very sturdy from the ground stakes! Bugs do get up in the top almost instantly, but they’re easy to get out or wipe out when you take it down. Pro-Tips: WEAR SUNGLASSES WHEN HANGING THINGS INSIDE! It’s so bright. Also, assemble a team to put up and take down. Coming down, while 1-2 people are removing poles, it gets heavy! I’d say 5 people is ideal. 4 to hold up and 1 to assemble and disassemble the poles! ... show more
