I haven't done one of these in years. I decided to buy one for my niece who enjoys art, I got one for me too. It does not look as good in person as online. Art is subjective, it still looks nice. It comes folded up in a box. Don't iron it. Lay it out flat under some heavy books a few days or stretch it on a frame. I recommend a magnifying glass to see some of the numbers. I haven't finished it yet, but it's really pretty and the colors are gorgeous! If you're not a big painter (me), than there may be a slight learning curve in balancing paint and water. Since it's canvas, it doesn't spread so easily so the shade of each color differs depending on how much water was on the brush. ... show more

I love paint by numbers. They definitely help me wind down and relax. I usually prefer to do more colorful painting but my husband requested this for his office at work. It’s got some really fine details but it turned out awesome.

I ran out of color #12 pretty quickly, the seller should provide two #12 paint cups. It took several hours and I finished it in one week while working on it occasionally. Overall I’m very please how it turned out. My 7yo helped on the greenery a bit but it was a little advanced for him. Anyway I would definitely recommend this product, but the seller needs to provide more #12 color paint. ... show more

Very vibrant colors, the picture is very neat and paint brushes are surprisingly good quality or at least they seem to be. Here’s the reason I only give it three stars. The map it comes with, and the actual canvas are almost impossible to see what color goes where on the really small sections. Like there’s some I just guessed on because you can’t read the number or it’s just a blob of ink. The way I would suggest fixing would be to not only number, but maybe color the sections lightly when printed. They send a map and they send a little 3 inch picture of it completed for reference however it’s tiny. If you sent even a 6 inch picture print of it completed I probably could’ve guessed better. That’s just a rough idea, but it is actually impossible to see some of them. The other complaint I have is- would it really cost that much more for you all to send a little extra paint for all of the colors? It’s a little stressful because you know you’re barely gonna have enough paint. I thinned a couple of them out as well because some of the paint is a lot thicker/dry than the other tubs. Having said all that I really enjoyed it and it looks great, but there is room for improvement. ... show more

The paint is not opaque. You have to do multiple, 3+ coats for an even layer. The 'canvas' is smooth and doesn't grip the paint well. The numbers aren't even correct in some places. There are solid parts that have 2 different numbers in the spot but...no line to break the numbers up. The print of the design is so faded that I can't even tell some of the numbers in a lot of areas. I won't be buying this brand again. ... show more
