After shaking the can I sprayed some in my hand, rubbed them together and then ran my fingers over and thru the fibers of my wig. It says it's a wax, but I'll say it doesn't feel like it. If you want to keep your alternate hair in the best condition it's important to use products especially made for them. Wig Wax is holding hair spray for synthetic hair. It doesnt get sticky but still maintains hold. I like it when I have a little face flop and dont have tome to steam it into a new position. This is the only wax I have tried. Definitely not like hairspray. Has decent hold, unless a windy day. Doesn’t have a bad smell. If you are trying to keep the hair flat it does tend to puff back up. I like to have the smaller size for traveling.

This spray is light yet holds better than hairspray. Spray with a lighter touch than you would with regular hairspray because you don’t need as much. Great for adding that modern texture to your wavy styles and a bit of pieceyness to fibers.
