This is an excellent broom, very easy to assemble and light weight. However, some buyers should be aware that the bristles on the broom are semi-soft (i.e., not stiff), so this might not be the best choice if you need a TRULY "heavy duty" bristle broom (i.e., where stiffer bristles would work better for a "heavier" cleanup job). I have been buying brooms at big box stores all these years but this time I took a chance and bought this on Amazon. I am glad I did. This is the best broom I ever owned. The bristles are very flexible and easy on my hands and arms. I saw one star reviewers stating that handle comes part. You MUST tighten each section very tightly. What do you want a broom to do? Not leave residue behind. This broom does a great job of not having to ‘re-sweep’ areas. Bristles are supple enough on the bottom and firm enough at the top to give a good ‘clean sweep’.
