Description

The innovative and unique multi-purpose FURemover Broom can be used indoors or outdoors to remove cat hair, dog fur, and dirt from practically any surface including hardwood floors, tile, carpet, rugs, linoleum, and concrete. The soft head is made of natural rubber that acts like a pet hair magnet and won't scratch hardwood floors. The lint brush is ideal for use on clothing and upholstery. It lasts longer than traditional lint rollers, and the natural rubber acts like a pet hair magnet, so you don't have to go over the same spot again and again to pick up lint, pet hair, and debris. For carpet fur removal, pull the broom in short, sharp strokes to bring embedded hair to the surface of the carpet. Even expensive vacuums made specifically for pet hair can't compete with the FURemover Broom's ability to pick up embedded pet hair. Flip it over and use the all-purpose rubber squeegee side to pick up dirt and dust on hardwood floors. It cleans up spills with ease. The natural rubber of the squeegee blade prevents water spots even on glass, which is great for wiping windows, glass shower doors, and car windshields. Instructions for Use: Extend the handle to the desired length and lock into place. Pull toward yourself using short, sharp strokes. Use the repeated pulling motion in the same area a few times to pull up most of the hair, fur, and debris. When the hair is up on top of the carpet, simply pick it up and throw it away. The broom head can be washed with a hose or in a bucket of soapy water as needed.

Top Amazon Reviews

  • Buy this broom.
Style: FURemover Broom
I have thought a lot about how to properly to review this broom. How dumb is that? That I am worrying about a broom review on Amazon. Golly, anyway. If you have any hard surfaces in your house and have any pets. BUY THIS BROOM. Don’t think or stress about it. Just buy it. Let me explain. I have no carpets in my house because I have pets. I had 3 Chi-something dogs, (yes, I just lost one, RIP Roxie {sniff, sniff}, but still have 2) and a big black cat. All these fur people have a ton of hair that floats around and lands everywhere along with the dust. (I live in AZ, and while during daylight hours I may wish to hide in the darkest and coolest place in my house, others go in and out of the house allowing dust and flying things inside, and to boot I have an old front door that lets in dust through cracks. That dang dust is everywhere all the time. It is just sad.) I have purchased a variety of different brooms and dusters to help me with the floating fur and dust problem. Each one had their own pluses and minuses, mostly minuses. Mainly because to get rid of the fur balls, I still had to fight the broom bristles or fabric to pull off the dusty dirty furballs that get stuck. ICK! Some brooms have the type of bristles where you can NEVER get all the hair out. I found myself constantly fighting to get the fur balls out. I even found that I was pulling out the lint brush for the fabric ones or washing them after every use. It was crazy. Then one day I found myself researching a stationary floor vacuum from Amazon. I found the one I was looking for and added it to my cart, and the screen said; “many people who purchase this item also purchase this broom”. I thought What…? Really that thing? Why? I researched it, it had good reviews. I thought, “I have enough random and useless brooms to support a squadron of witches, do I really need another for backup?” I read the best and worst reviews I could find, and decided why not, I could use a backup broom, you know for parts. The vacuum and the broom arrived together. I set them up and decided to sweep up the hallway with this new rubber broom. I was not prepared for how this thing was going to work. I went for the dust bunny infested hallway certain it would work like the other brooms. Then it happened, the clouds parted the angels sang and the room was filled with light. Mostly because I turned on the hall light. (I normally keep it off because I don’t want to see the dust bunnies milling about the the walls.) Seriously, it was AMAZING! First the handle on this thing is solid and long enough for a moderately tall person like me. Solid enough that when I nearly passed out, it caught me and kept me upright without collapsing. The bristles are some type of rubber that are solid and not gushy, but don’t scratch or mark the walls or the floor. On one side of the broom head, you get the bristles, the other is like a floor squeegee. If one side doesn’t work, flip it, the other side will work. Soon I was going up and down the hall collecting the rando dust bunnies that were trying to flee the scene. But I was able to round them all up and put them in front of the new vacuum and poof! They were sucked up and gone into the belly of the beast. (That is when I needed the solid handle for support, the knees got weak.) Nothing stuck to this broom. The hair and dust was all just gone. No bending over picking it up, or getting a dustpan, or fighting the broom for it. I immediately went back over the hall to see what I left then I realized this new broom could dust off the floorboards. I went up and down the hall sweeping off the floorboards. Then I went back over the floor with the squeegee side. I picked up more dirt and dust and pushed it in front of the vacuum. It was magic. I put the broom in front of the vacuum so it would take off any remaining anything clinging to the rubber head (there was nothing I saw but I am old and don’t always trust my eyes). Once again and it appeared to work perfectly. The next crime scene was the kitchen floors. I went for the area under the cabinets and around the stove and frig. I realized that this thing picked up all the pieces, and I could now mop without bringing out the vacuum to get the unseen particles that I never seem to get all of before I mop. Needless to say, the arrival of this broom resulted in me getting my floors clean and when I was done, it was sturdy enough to get me to a chair to collapse in. The other brooms in the house have been moved outside for recreational riding only. I love this thing. Now, when I see the dust bunnies starting to loiter in the hall, I just grab the broom and get them to the vacuum, and it is done. If you have hard service floors and pets, buy this broom, it will be the best money you have spent in a long time. You’re welcome. Ps We had a grand wet mess on the tile. I brought out this broom and used the squeegee side. It worked like a dream. ... show more

  • Add water for easier clean
Style: FURemover Broom
For pet owners, I'm so surprised that many people have left off the one thing that makes this broom better: water. Either spritz the carpets/rugs beforehand, dunk the bristles into a tub, spit on the floor, or become a water bender - whatever you do, just add water. Water will make the pet hair stick together. It will make it so you don't have to scrub and scrape the rugs with so much force your arms and back shake and you skip the gym the next day. Get this: water will allow you to use the bristles of the broom, not just the hard plastic edge. If you have softer/fluffier carpets, add water and do a quick back and forth motion. You'll be amazed at the snake-like coil that emerges. For harder, shorter rugs that seem to cling to the hair like their life depends on it, I've found that water and short brush strokes with the grain of the rug work really well. Don't stop short of the rugs' edges; keep your momentum and rake the hair off the rug. I got this broom to save my knees (you're welcome, future me). My previous method of cleaning up stubborn dog hair was to literally dip a rag in water and go to town. It would take hours of Mr. Miyagi-ing my rugs and carpet to even get it semi-clean. Now I just dip this broom in a water bucket, sweep my rugs, and presto - I'm done in 30 minutes. For the love of our hairy pets, just add water. ... show more

  • The BEST thing for pet hair!
Style: FURemover Broom and Brush Combo
I don't normally write reviews, but this (they call it a broom. I searched for a carpet rake.) gadget is amazing! I have a big vacuum, a hand held vacuum and a carpet sweeper. I also have very long hair and 3 cats. I am constantly cleaning the bristles on the vacuum and sweeper. I spend more time cleaning the cleaners than cleaning with them. I had seen a carpet "rake" with a foam pad quite some time ago, and always meant to get one. As I said, I searched for a carpet rake. I cleaned that ball of fur and hair off my low pile rug after I had vacuumed. I saw someone ask about hardwood floors. It has a scraper, kind of squeegee thing on one side. I used that to clean up what was left after I scooped the ball of fur up with my dust pan. I may order a few more and keep one in every room. You can get just the head if it wears out. The handle is nice and sturdy! If you have pets - get this! ... show more
