I was quite impressed by the care that went into the design, packaging and instructions. Especially because this is a "budget" item. It is obvious that they not only thought of what was needed, but adjusted the design to make it easier to build, taking into consideration the mistakes we are likely to make assembling. I made a couple mistakes, but it was trivial to correct them and do it without damaging the particle board - something that is usually a problem with products from other brands. They even provided an extra screw/etc for things we are most likely to drop and lose. All in all I was very pleased. Sturdiness and stability I only rated a 4, but that is not because of a failure of design but because particle board is not particularly sturdy and because over the toilet storage like this one are not expected to be very stable. If I were rating based on sturdy/stable "for the selected materials and intended use" I would likely give it a full 5 stars. I also don't give positive reviews easily. I tend to be very critical of sloppy work/parts/design and rate accordingly. But in this case I found absolutely nothing to criticize. My congrats to the designer. ... show more

Looks really nice and feels like good quality. Building it was pretty straightforward although there was one piece that goes between the back panels that didn't fit. It's totally fine without it though. My bathroom looks 10x better with this shelf!

The media could not be loaded. I think this over the toilet cabinet is very good, I like it and It suits my storage needs very well. This is for my small bathroom which has been lacking in storage. The depth of the shelf is just right so I can put my make-up carousel on it. The top shelf is adjustable so you can place it higher up to Accommodate taller bottles and tubes on the bottom shelf. I like that the unit has doors you can close and it is not an open shelf stand. I feel it's unhygienic having a lot of items out in the open above and around the toilet. I think about toilet spray, and I do put the lid down when I flush. I like the brush nickel handle pulls. The doors are very easy to open. My husband assembled the unit. I think he had a couple of issues but he figured it out. He had to put the cross bar in a different spot lower down and made extra screw holes, because our toilet is very tight against the wall and the cross bar wouldn't go in the designated spot. Our home is decades old, built in the 50's and when it comes to DIY projects, some things are not straight forward because of way the home is built. Overall the cabinet stand is relatively easy to assemble and should be fine for most standard toilets and homes. Our unit is anchored to the wall and it is very solid and secure. It definitely needs anchoring as it will be wobbly and unstable otherwise. All the hardware is included. ***I share a photo and a video. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. So check them out. I, myself, like to see video reviews, they can be helpful. I don't have anything fancy, just basic stuff that I am ok with people seeing. You can get an idea of what will fit in the cabinet. The mouthwash bottle is the large kind. The carousel for the makeup is very handy. I don't wear a lot of makeup so the carousel is perfect for my needs. There are different make up caddies that would work on the shelf space. I would recommend this over the toilet cabinet.     • Beautiful and functional but the odor does not go away

Absolutely love it, beautiful piece, lots of shelving space, yes the other reviews warned takes long time to assemble but it was a fun project. And there is a funny chemical odor that still lingers after 3 months. still deserves 5 stars for the price, look and value.

This item came with all hardware necessary to complete the job. At the end of the project you may want to make sure you have a drill to ensure sturdiness or product into the bathroom wall. I did not do this step, so my cabinets sits up well, but does move as I'm opening drawers. If you are an apartment owner, or in a renting situation this could be something to think about, drilling holes in the wall. Overall the product is a nice addition to my bathroom space. ... show more

    • Well conceived but the assembly is a challenge

The unit is well packaged and all of the pieces are labeled with a number. This is mandatory with so many parts. The instructions are somewhat thin for most people. There are no written instructions.........just sketches. The sketches are accurate but you must take great care to understand front and rear before assembling. There is nothing to guide you regarding "front" and "rear" and you can easily assembly the top half facing the wrong direction with respect to the bottom half. Ask me how I know. The statements by others that the unit is "flimsy" are accurate. You only get stability after you get to nearly the end of the assembly process and install the final piece "M" to tie the two sides together. THEN it is stable and you can lift the entire unit and place it behind the toilet..........by one man. However, the stability is not present to keep it against the wall and you MUST install the provided wall anchors. Be sure to have a battery powered drill with a phillips bit to install the back panels. Otherwise be ready to see an orthopedist for another set of wrists. The hinges for the unit were designed by an idiot. This type of cabinet hinge is always provided with SLOTTED mounting holes. This unit has two slotted and two fixed holes. So, if you expect to adjust the hinge up or down with the slotted holes..........well........good luck with that. You get whatever position that the predrilled holes in the sides provide for you and THERE IS NO ADJUSTMENT. The manual lies to you with their instruction to adjust the vertical height. Sadly, we have a product that is sold by someone who knows nothing about it and has never assembled it themselves. Quite typical of these Amazon sellers today. Buyer beware. ... show more
