I have two fur babies, a GSD and a Great Pyr, if you know these are two big giant fur balls! This broom has helped in so many ways! Easy to set up, easy to use, good length for both my husband and I and scratch resistant to my hardwood floors! Love it! Great value for your buck!

I really like this thing. It is faster, more effective, and more attractive than a normal broom, even compared to a handmade Berea-college broomcorn broom or a high quality nylon one. I'm a mom with 5 homeschooled kids (meaning they're here all the time and messy and in and out of doors) on a farm with lots of floor to clean and muddy animals and firewood and little girls crafting, and I cannot recommend this general product enough! This is my first squoom, so I can't speak to comparing it to others. Likes: Blade folds flat, very low profile Fast as greased lightning on solid floors Doesn't throw dog hair in the air as I clean Can wrap a towel around it and mop Also good for knocking those weird kitchen cobwebs down Can make it shorter for the kiddos to use Dislikes Feels a little wiggly in the handle Not sure how long it will last Handle unscrews with vigorous use Multi piece Handle cannot be readily replaced with solid long broom handle If you're curious, try it. I was hesitant on ordering this since I didn’t know how it would sweep our hardwood floors but I have to say I love it! We wanted to find an alternative since we use it for bathrooms, basement and that it would be easy to clean. It works surprisingly well! The head of it swivels. It gets all the dust, dirt and our dogs hair no problem! Easy to put together and lightweight! Once we are done sweeping we get our little vacuum to suck up the dirt. I bought this 3 weeks ago and it’s one of the BEST cleaning products I’ve ever bought. The wide squeegee head and its ability to angle 180 degrees has made my cleaning routine soooo much EASIER and FASTER! It’s SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY in the process and is SUPER EASY TO CLEAN AND DISINFECT, unlike a regular broom that just collects and holds all the grossness in its bristles. I’ve already recommended it to so many people. I have 3 cats, two that shed just by looking at them and 1 that’s been struggling with ongoing skin infections and ringworm (which is oddly only affecting her). Ringworm is a highly contagious fungal infection whose fungal spores can live in your environment for up to 2 years!! (Totally gross!) It requires daily sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Not to mention washing all the towels that cover every surface where she hangs out and all the microfiber cloths I use for mopping and dusting. I was spending at least $30 every month on Swiffer heavy duty pet dry cloths and my regular broom was just collecting all the fur, ick and ringworm fungal spores in its bristles and spreading it around. This rubber broom gets EVERYTHING on my hard floors — all the fur I can’t see because their fur color matches my floor color, all the litter tracked everywhere, water and food spilled on the floor. Here’s a before and after- I don’t have a vacuum so this carpet got pretty dirty and this thing did a great job. I usually use a deshedder you use for pets to comb the rug and get rid of the hair but this did a comparable job. I will say for a rug like this it takes some effort I def broke a sweat and it does loosen with rigorous use but it doesn’t fall apart while using. So worth the cost. It works well on my vinyl textured floor too. I’ve been deep cleaning with it and it’s holding up alright- I can see it falling apart in a few month but I’d still say that’s worth the $12. It also came with a warranty which is cool. Didn’t get 5 stars bc it unscrews a bit otherwise 5 stars for sure. ... show more
