Description

This overcreeper is exactly what I needed to reach deep into the engine bay on my trucks and lifted SUV. I like that the fasteners must be installed with real tools, not a 1-size-fits-all hex key. The hardware and fasteners are sturdy and simple with clear enough instructions. Some of the sizes were labeled incorrectly in the instructions, but all the correct parts for assembly were provided… I just needed a different wrench and socket. Not a problem. For the first time, I'm able to stretch out fairly comfortably to reach everything in the engine bay with both hands. That alone cuts my work time significantly. And the sturdiness of this product allows me to lean fully forward without step-stools sliding or buckets tipping, and without extra wear and tear on myself or the grille and fenders of my truck. total lifesaver when working in the engine bays. spent 13 hours on it first day and it saved by back and legs. good adjustability too. took about 30 min to get together and the instructions were a 8/10 so thats another plus. overall 5 star product. wish i got one years ago.

Assembly was easy and straight forward. Casters do well on a flat surface. Unit is sturdy and the height adjustments are great. I am over 260 pounds and never felt uneasy. So much better than getting a hose or bracket to the ribs or worse. I would very much recommend this product.

when i work on my excursion, i used to have to lay across the engine to get to the back or work on the turbo. so i would get bruises from stuff all the time. my brother in law has one of these and is a tall stocky guy. this holds him just fine. i used it and realized i need one too. its a game changer. there are a few sharp edges from manufacturing that you might want to just file down a bit, but otherwise, its fantastic. worth the purchase. and it has a bag on the front to hold tools that you put in there while working and still cant find them because you forgot where you put them LOL. the struggle is real! ... show more

I purchased this for my husband and I when we are working on our vehicles. It took a minute to assemble. The instructions are HORRIBLE! Lol the sizes and tools they tell you to use are all wrong smh. So just a heads up! I've assembled its very sturdy/solid. Don't have any worry about it crashing down or bending anywhere. The casters are of nice quality, and it adjusts easily. I did cut up a pool noodle and zip tied it parts that would possibly bump against the vehicles. The pads it came with I just doubled up and zipped tied them as well. So get yourself a pool noodle with this to save you some hassle. Would purchase again and highly recommend! BACK SAVER for any mechanic! ... show more

Of course there is some assembly but it was not bad, able to put together by myself but another set of hands recommended. The crawler wheels do lock in position and once in place it was a game changer on my truck. Storage is bulky but if you have the room it is worth the money.

Optional swiveling tool tray did not work for me as I had to raise the height of the stand to accommodate the tray thus making the access more difficult. Manufacturer should explore moving the tool tray to the side of the creeper work surface near the rear. Also the addition of more attachment points for the foam cushioning would help prevent scratches to bumper/fender. Otherwise I am glad I made the purchase rather than attempting the work from an unstable step stool while leaning over the engine. I purchased this creeper after a step stool slide out from under me. This topside creeper has good locking caster wheels to prevent that. ... show more
