    • It's my 3rd one, and I like the colors better.

There all the same made by the same company, so it's just price and color selection. They last about 4 years of constant use for me at least, and the price is reasonable. The first one, well the wheels fell apart on me, and replacement wheels are very expensive in the $100 range. The 2nd one, the steel weld under the seat that attaches the seat to the pole tore apart and the seat began to wobble and I saw the writing on the wall where I would fall off and hit the ground, so that went in the trash. This is the 3rd one, same price as the others, where before it was more expensive in the past, and I like the black with orange wheels, looks pretty cool. It's fine for the home mechanic that likes to work on cars, and fine as a computer desk chair for a garage computer, and makes a nice place to sit for friends hanging out in the garage and drinking beer. ... show more

Casters were already bolted on making it 3 pieces to assemble easily. I gave it 4 stars because it was wobbly due to the loose fit at bottom. I tape around the bottom of pole about 1/8 above bottom base. Sanded places of contact on pole and hole in base, cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. I then mixed regular J-B Weld and spread a thin layer around pole and pushed it into hole. Used my finger to spread excess off. I pulled tape and cleaned excess off with isopropyl alcohol. Stool was delivered, assembled in a nano second. I live in an NYC apartment. The office chair I had took up too much space. I ditched that and bought this, at the max height it's perfect for sitting at the desk working on the computer. The tool tray works as a place for stuff but also a place from to rest my feet off the floor. This thing rolls like a champ on a hardwood flood and I use it as a place to sit when I so certain dumbbell exercises. For the price, this is sturdy, easy to assemble, the right price. I would think in my NYC apartment this thing will last until death do us part. I don't usually rave about things I've bought from Amazon but his suits my purpose, space and price very nicely.
