I bought this for traveling so i could keep my camera and wallet safe while sleeping on a plane or at an airport. It's a good size to fit under the seat in economy class when flying while still fitting a lot inside. I wouldn't use it as a camping pack, but for reference, i can fit my double hammock, a bug net, a compact sleeping bag, and my camera and still have just enough room (barely) for either a rain fly or small underquilt. I'm sure it will come in handy against pickpockets when I'm in certain cities, too. I like the lock, and it seems quite durable so far. It's comfortable enough to carry around and not gigantic on a petite woman like me. I have recommended it to the friend i go adventuring with, and she bought the gray one.     • So much better organized!
I work as a photographer plus additional side work and this bag was the answer I was looking for. I was constantly running around with multiple bags for each job, plus my purse, plus a lunch pail and got dubbed "the bag lady." I was able to combine it all with this bag. The big compartment is spacious. I'm able to fit my tablet, Chromebook, wifi brick, paperwork, and more in just that compartment. There's a built in USB option. The USB cord is on the inside of the bag with and outside connection as well. I haven't played with what this option can do for me yet. The large compartment is lockable and it was not difficult at all to change the pin code. I love this feature for keeping my electronics secure while I'm out and around. The middle compartment is slightly smaller with an additional pocket inside. I have found this organizes the larger items I usually carry in my purse well. Currently it holds my wallet, my planner, a book, and another small bag of beauty items. The small compartment in front is very typical of a standard backpack. It's got spots for pens, a small zippered compartment plus a few others for organizing misc items. There's a built in head phone jack at the top of the bag, that I'll admit I don't use because I use wireless headphones. The 2 mesh pockets on the sides are perfect size for carrying multiple water bottles through the day since I don't typically have drinkable water at some of my job sites. And the buckles that come around the sides hold the bottles in tight so they don't fall out. I wasn't aware when I bought the bag that there's an additional pocket on the backside. It zippers only on one side and is perfect for holding anything you might frequently need to get out one handed. I frequently put my cell phone here. There's a large sturdy clip at the top of the bag. I use this to clip my car keys to with a carbineer. I've had this bag about 3 weeks now and have no regrets. It's made my life a ton easier. This backpack went to Italy and Greece with me. It's alot. Is durable. Great features such as locking. Only thing is I wish the laptop padding was removable because I didn't bring a laptop. Could of used the extra room. Also had a little trouble keeping it zipped when zippers were at the top, but if you move the double zippers under the strap, no more problem. ***Also fits under an airline seat. So fantastic! Pretty good set up for pockets and chambers to hold stuff. Took it on a trip and was able to carry my clothes and other necessities with no issue (I travel light). With all the restrictions on carry-ons that airlines give, this backpack didn't have any issues. Don't think the lock is really secure or useful but just my opinion. Backpacks generally have too few pockets or not the right kinds. This backpack changes that. All the right pouches for your important items, a great laptop compartment, even equipped with a USB cable to hook up my portable battery (or laptop) and an external USB port to connect whatever I need to charge (usually my phone or vape) and still have it accessible in an external pocket. Zippers on the laptop pocket are lockable with a 3-digit code. Zippers are also extremely durable, especially compared with the flimsy zippers on my last backpack. Very comfortable fit, doesn't hang below the waist. Large capacity, it fits everything inside: large Laptop(17.5), tablet, extra jacket, lunch container, all of my needs. Main compartment has combo lock, outside pockets can lock with a small lock. Outside USB recharge or power port, secure your power bank inside. As a Journalist, Author, and Writer I am always in need of more than I can carry. My laptop, Tablet, and several notebooks along with a variety of writing utensils have become a part of me. This bag not only has an amazing capacity, and padded pouches for my electronics, it also has a USB port built in, and a pouch for a battery charger / power packs. There is also a pretty cool lock on the main pouch, and you can set your own 3 digit code. I have to say this about it. It's built BETTER than the last one I had, and it was a Samsonite, and was by far a more expensive bag.
