Although this backpack is NOT cheap, it is worth the investment so far. Great amount of compartments that fit our daughter's things perfectly. There is space for everything she needs...so many great options to get organized with this backpack and have everything have its place. It looks to be very well made, straps are comfortable, and we hope she'll have it for at least a few years. We're even able to fit a bento lunch box in one of the front pockets, which is super convenient as she hates school lunches and nothing gets squished in the bento box. ... show more

This is a great backpack but I'm a little picky. I vend music and community events, and i know what I want how I want things to fit, and it just didn't work for what I needed it for. I needed a large compartment where I could stack pencil cases then a smaller compartment that has 2 zippers because I carry 2 tube's that stick out. A decent front pocket. I just couldn't make this work for what I needed it for. I kept it because it will be a good overnight bag or something. I have a jansport Trans and it's the absolute perfect design they just don't make it any more. Was trying to find one similar. ... show more

This backpack lasted my son from freshman year until the beginning of senior year. It holds a lot and he always had it pretty packed. It was showing a little wear at pressure spots where it rested on the ground and finally the main pocket zipper broke. I washed it and sent it to Jansport where they have a warranty and returned it with a new zipper. In the mean time, I purchased a new backpack, same style and my son was thrilled he was getting a new black backback just like his old brown one. ... show more

I've been using this backpack for five years now, and there's been very minimal damage, just a couple of tears from being scraped on the ground or falling, but it's barely noticeable. It holds everything I need, and is very spacious. I'm very surprised it's lasted this long because I have so many books and binders and my laptop in my bag every day, and my backpack is super super heavy, but it's still like new.
