  • This will be a good "personal item" for airline travel
Size: One Size Color: Black Pattern Name: Backpack
Will echo the feelings of some of the other reviews here. For 27 dollars, I think this bag is great. The outside appears to be fairly standard polyester weave, which is nothing fancy, but is durable enough for most peoples use and should hold up to plenty of abrasion. Zippers are noname, but also appear to be solid (which is a pretty big deal considering how many this backpack has). Zipping around corners can be tricky as mentioned, but this is more due to the rigid structure of the backpack in conjunction with the zipper protectors surrounding the zippers, so I personally don't find this a flaw. This backpack is fairly small, thus shouldn't be overloaded, so I think the shoulder straps should be plenty comfortable for its intended weight carry. Stiching and clips seem decent enough as well. Molle straps feel like they can hold to some decent weight. The materials on the inside feel cheap, but functional. The nylon divider material doesn't appear to be ripstop, and the meshing doesn't feel the most resilient. But again, for normal use and for the price, these should not be actual issues for most people. I mostly wanted a cheap backpack that would make a "travel edc" bag, that could serve both on the plane and in the airport, as well as walking around the city touring. I will use the molle on the bag to clip my additional duffel bag to myself as I walk from Grand Central to Penn Station as I move through NYC to JFK (if anyone can relate to that travel commute, the things I do for cheap plane tickets). I like all the organization pockets for "airport day" so having various compartments of shapes and sized makes it easy to keep food, clothing, electronics, passport, misc all organized and in its place when blitzing from train, to foot to plane to cab etc. I also wanted a backpack to keep immediate items with me on the plane while my duffel bag is stored in the overhead. Hoodie, travel pillow, snacks, water etc. Overall, I like the design and featureset, especially given the price. A more expensive backpack would be constructed with nicer materials, so if that is important to you, or if you truly plan to EDC this bag every day and really put it through the ringer, you may want to look elsewhere. I think for a bug out bag or travel bag (a bag you truly dont use EVERY day), the durability and construction should be "plenty fine"... ... show more

  • Killer bag!
Size: One Size Color: Black Pattern Name: Backpack
So, I'm a FedEx driver and I use this as my ED bag. I'm a particularly small-framed fella (5' 7", 115lbs) and very few backpacks are actually comfortable to me. My last backpack was an $80 Oakley bag and this blows it out of the water in comfort, durability, utility... Just about everything The main pocket comfortable fits more than it looks. I usually always keep a 1L water bottle, a 28oz bottle of Powerade, and another empty 28oz Powerade bottle, and when I'm not delivering, I can fit an IPad in there too! The front pocket is super organized and has enough organization and pouches in such a small space... It pleases my OCD so much it makes my eyes roll to the back of my head. Now there are two tiny pockets... One's super soft and perfect for glasses; and the other is small but can fit my wallet, keys, a small bottle of sanitizer, and my true wireless headphones in their case if I arrange it right. Durability: This thing can take a beating. I'm MEAN to my bags, and after a month, I'm impressed. Only a minor fray on the bottom of one strap but it's not getting any worse, and I had WAY more stuff in there than I should have that day. Comfort: It's definately nicer than a sandpaper backing, but definately it's not memory foam with silk cloth. I can wear it all day and be fine. No complaints. More comfortable than it looks though Tl;dr: If you're looking for an EDC concealed bag, this may dissapoint. If you want a good everyday backpack that has everything except a pouch for your polymer-framed mini boomstick (or a full-steel 8 rounder if you're over 50 [Jokes, jokes, I love me a nice 45]) then this is the backpack of your whet dreams Due to the price, you could get a couple to serve different purposes. Hell, I'd even use this for school if I knew about it then. Overall 4.5/5 -0.5 stars for lack of EDC/laptop compartment ... show more

  • Great product!
Size: One Size Color: Black Pattern Name: Backpack
I work as an aircraft maintenance engineer and daily use this backpack. I have patches on it and they have yet to come unstuck even when exposed to the elements, chemicals, and rough treatment. The multiple pockets are amazing for carrying a variety of things inside of the main pack. The main pack is great but the only drawback is the only one side fully open so you can’t fully lay the main pocket flat. I’ve carried tools in it alongside other daily use items snd they haven’t punctured through. I’ve tossed it, dragged it and the quality of the build is amazing! The straps are also comfortable for longer period of times. I’ve had to carry this pack for hours at a time and honestly I can’t complain. The side pocket also comfortable fits most bottles, the stretch is awesome because it grips the bottles and doesn’t allow them to slip out easily. I’ve taken it hiking a few times and have put a speaker in the side pocket and the only issue is the sound quality doesn’t sound clear, apart from that I love it; I can put snack in it and whatever else I need. The outer pocket has several compartments so organization in it isn’t an issue. The other 2 smaller pockets on the outside are a major perk, the felt on the topmost one has taken great care of my glasses. Overall love the product 10/10 ... show more

Good sturdy cordura. Zippers aren't YKK and they could be better but good for the price. Blk version and I love it. It's a 3/4 Zipp on main pocket. Because of water bottle pocket on the right side. Left side opens all the way open. Has eye glass pocket with soft fabric. Reinforce grab handle.
