It replaced some of older, heavy converters with clip on attachments, etc. Everything you need snaps out of the one small unit. Get this asap if you plan on going internationally. You can use this plug anywhere and it is cheap. I am from the united states but i used this plug in Europe. Sweden and Greece use the two prongs while the UK uses one totally different. My friend had to use it as well because he only bought the one that worked in the rest of Europe.
