Ok, so this was definitely a nostalgic purchase. I mean I am no longer in school and I just use this for writing things down. But it is definitely a great replica. Because many may not remember this, but the 80s one where horribly cheaply made, and so are these. The Velcro will eventually fall apart and the plastic flip cover will eventually start to crack. But why not one star vs the five stars I am giving it, because like I said it is exactly how the original versions were like. I didn’t expect high quality from this because back in the days these didn’t hold up. Nothing like taking your trapper keeper out your book bag only for the thing to break in half and all your notes from class falling to the floor. I remember that clearly.
