I have had the same stainless steel pots and pans for 25+ years. I hated buying new ones knowing that they don’t make things like they used to but I got an induction cooktop and my old ones wouldn’t work with it. I love these! The construction is great. Love the variety of sizes. The handles don’t get hot. Made in Brazil which was a compromise but I couldn’t afford All Clad. The clean up is great. I should also note that I don’t cook with oil or butter or any added fat and I’m not having any trouble with things sticking. No regrets. Really good quality and a great price. ... show more

Perfect set. I have a piece of All-Clad and use to cook on All-Clad in the kitchen that I use to work in. Comparing this Tramontina set to the All-Clad that I have used in the past, I see zero differences. The fit and finish is perfect! I actually like the frying pan set that comes with this Tramontina set better. The shape is more like a traditional frying pan that I am use to. For me, that is more area to cook on. I did make some eggs and it DIDN'T stick. I forgot to take a pic of that. Later tonight, I cooked two burgers. They came out perfect with really good flavor. Cleanup was easy. I wiped out the pan with paper towels, wiped out the pan after with soapy water and a sponge, let it sit for 5 minutes and then came back and sponged it off again. It was perfectly clean. I dried it with a towel and then took a pic. If anyone wanted to know, the lid for the 6qt deep saute pan fit the 12" frying pan. The clad material that this is made out of is nice and thick. I would say about 2.5mm. I'm very happy with the quality. They are made in Brazil. This is the same exact set that you would get from Sam's Club. It was on a card inside the packaging that said Member's Mark. The set came direct from Tramontina very fast. I'll update my review in a few weeks when I have had a chance to test them a bit more but my early impressions are that this set is a winner! FYI, I remember when I was a kid, everyone use to cook on stainless steel. Cooking with stainless seems to be a dying art now a days. I really like and missed cooking with it. I am a die hard Teflon pan user. I needed a new set of pans. Doing a lot of research I decided to try the Tramontina set. I was not willing to spent the cost for the All Clad brand. The Tramontina set has been wonderful. I have had no issues with cooking my eggs...a little butter and heat at low to just below medium and they slide right out. They clean up really nice...if there is any discoloration when I wash them I just use a little barkeepers liquid cleanser and the pans are good as new. At half the price of the All clad they are well worth it. ... show more

I need to remember to lower the heat with these pans but wow do they cook great! Some very large pans in this group I’m not sure I will use but they are really beautiful. I looked and compared many different brands and this set won out. Yes, I wanted All Clad but these seem to be just as good.

I did get a can of barkeepers friend and cleaned a couple of old pans . boy was I pleased with the out come ,and how easy it was to use and how clean my old pots are shinning just like the new ones... ... show more

But what a word … I have been using the same Farberware cooking set since I got married in 1978. It is still useable, however, I bought an induction range. The Farberware was worn and a little warped, so I splurged on this fabulous new set. This is a medium-heavy set, so you don’t have to worry about things burning easily. The heat distribution is even. As usual Tramontina is one of the best for stainless steel cooking set. My mom has the same set for 30 years and still using them. I decide to buy one for me because I was tired of using non-stainless sets. Best purchase ever!!
